We've fallen for a scam!!

Beware of anybody called Kevin White operating as a Medic Company running under these names:

• Motion Medix
  
• Medisecure
  
• Med-Rescue
  

This guy sent us a quote for events and listed events that he's done as:

• Dirtopia
  
• Steve Hofmeyer
  
• Kiteboarding.com
  
• Lizzard
  
• Nerve
  
• Awesome Africa
  

We got a comprehensive quote from him and all seemed solid, until he got our deposit!

Now he doesn't answer our calls or just hangs up when he hears the words Motion Medix.

We're working on getting his details as we have his cell number and it has been Rica'd

We deal with a lot of conferences and events, I feel the same way, if there is no company based email address we don't bother quoting or working with you (it costs less than R50 a month to host an account!). Having no landline is undersdtandable in this country but not having a business email address is dodgy. Many moons ago at a venue where I worked, we wound up giving this tjop who came to see us about fire extinguishers and the filling thereof, all our kit and he just disappeared! Was supposed to return them the next morning. 10 years on, if I bump into this guy I will put him on his ass! School fees as they say!!

Those Fire Extinguisher guys are a scam - my wife also got caught out: he sold her a unit then came in the next week to say it was a bad batch and he needs to take it back for a swop out.

 

Never saw it again.

That really sucks, so not luck tracking him down?

 

How did you find him in the first place? Did you ask about him from Meurant/Arina since - chances are he can't even tell his sling from his slangbyt....

 

..if you really can't track him down then just start placing a few really good deals for box shape bmws in gumtree with his number...
