Hi.

As above, what do you weigh, and what is your front and back shock/fork pressure.

thanks

I weigh about 88kg.

Front shock about 85

Rear shock about 180-190

Just as important is the rebound damping you set.

On rear, ride off a pavement and the shock should compress and then rebound only once. Too much rebound and you bounce up and down a few times.

I turned the rebound damping (how much damping or resistance to rebound)completely to max damping, and then added back 3 or 4 clicks of less damping. That seems to work well. This applies to both front and back.

When i bought my anthem x1 the rebounds were hopelessly out and i found the handling on the bike was poor. Took me ages to figure this shcok setup story out.

Im interested in those who have tora's while waiting for my revelation I am riding a Tora and I just cant find that sweet spot.

Fork:

SiD WC: Pos air: 60psi

Neg air: 60psi

Sag = 25%

Shock:

RP23: 110psi (pump to 120psi to factor in air loss when disconnecting shock pump). Sag = +- 8mm with full travel obtained when shock in "open" position.

I weigh 65kg.

Same fork for me, but I find it very hard to measure sag as it almost "locks", even in open position, untill you hit some bumps (similar to old Fox X). I run much higher pressure, 100psi front, 160psi back (RP23) 80kg.

I'm 72kg with gear and 2x 500ml bottles.

Rear pressure depends on the terrain. 145 for very technical terrain or a trail bike feel, 155 for gravel and a harder race feel.

RP23 rear: 150 PSI (using RockShox pump - loses about 8% when detaching, according to web) Rebound 4 clicks from wide open towards closed. So +- half (9 clicks from open to closed on mine)

Front: Sid Race 100mm 80PSI top/60 PSI bottom, 11 clicks rebound from open/fastest position.

Very similar!

I`m about 76kg (on my own)

RP23 rear: 160psi (FOX pump) Rebound set to half way

SID Race front: 60psi top and 60psi bottom. Rebound near half way. (RockShox pump)
