I see the latest coolest thing to do on the HUB is to start a new thread on 32GI. So would everybody please comment below as to their experience with this AMAZING (claimed) product. Even if you haven't used it yet just post something because I want MY thread to be the coolest.

I have never actually used 32GI and I am not commenting on the product so please don't sue me. :D

I think the popularity of the other threads was down to the intelligent feedback from the guy marketing the product.

I'm not sure how much mileage you will get out of "I have never actually used 32GI and have nothing to say about it" etc. Good luck though.

Two of us used it in the Afriman duathlon on Sunday, and I can confirm that it did not work for us. I even used the chews, and if it was not for the few SupaGOOs I took along, as well as the Boigen at the water table during the cycling leg I would have been in serious trouble :(

You will have to go some to beat the original "..ROCKS big time" thread. Start one such as "I confess that I, like Conty, also took a prohibited substance when................."

Good luck!!

ag, I'll play along :D -- i SO want you to have the coolest thread!

SO: I'll be taking some 32GI sachets to Killarney tonite! If anybody wants to try it, or 'pre book' a flavour, please give me a shout.

I carry no torch for 32GI, hell, I haven't even used the stuff.

But you tried something during a race?

That's not generally the best way.

If you want to give something - anything - a fair test, you should train on it, get your body used to it, and then comment.

Not a personal dig, just a comment on your "test procedure".

Ive yet to find something that gives me a boost. The only reasons i use 32GI is cos its easy to drink, doesn't get caught in my throat and i like the lime flavour :D

;) this is the hub, here we do not follow any double blind, randomized, verifiable, recreateable procedure. We fly off the cuff, hit out into the dark and do things on a whim anmd the spur of the moment.

On the hub we make scientists cringe and spin in their coffins :D

So, taking all of that into account, I've tried this 32GI artificial sweetener which masquarades as a sports drink as a cool drink during a non-training weekend. Decided I might actually be able to stomach it, and hence bought some more for the Afriman (which as done for the experience and distance, not for position/time)

I still think that ManBearPigs's idea of Bad Pies are the best for jet powered race performance, however I've been unable to stockpile washing powder, so that will have to wait a while

I'm commenting on a phenomenon, I call it the "32 Gee, I dont know" phenomenon. Why does everybody have to start their own thread on this and clog up the "latest forum posts" block thing? As you said, the marketing guy gave real feedback unlike some others I have seen. But why not just ask all the questions in the same thread? It's not really a Hi-Jack is it? And clearly the marketing guy, kudos to him, goes through all the threads and responds. It will save him time, and give others looking for answers ONE place to look instead of 500 gazillion different threads.

But please, keep on commenting as we are still a long way from being the coolest 32GI thread.

From what I understand using 32GI correctly necessitates a lifestyle change. Meaning that to get the best results one would have to make their diet completely low GI all the time. Stuffing sugars into your pie hole (good or bad pies)during the week and then expecting your body to use 32GI on a Saturday morning is not ideal. I could be wrong but this is my obnoxious opinion.

THATS what we need, some obnoxious opinions!

It was still a nifty, fun car though, and properly pedalled would have embarrassed much "faster" metal on the right road!
