Carbon Stumpjumper Hardtail vs Volcan XC2

I'm have a predicament... they're similarly spec'd, they cost about the same. Although there's very little info on Volcan bikes.

 

So anyone able to help me make an informed decision?

quite right, big international brand with decades of R&D versus local badge engineered brand which only has a folloing because of their sponsorship of the MTN team - too harsh?

I like the Stumpjumper. Just out of interest, if you are going to go hard-tail why not look at a 29er?

am pretty sure its just like raleigh or silverback, google them there's nothing happening overseas with them, didn't someone say that Victor Momsen even designed the logo for them?

 

that being said still nice looking bikes but when compared to Spez.....well....
