I dont think you can really beat that price on the 816. Ive seen it for 2k at places. I say get one you wont be disappointed. Then you can let me know how it is

 

I got my magicshine 816 on special fro R1500 usualy they are R2400. Give 4x more light than my Sigma Powerledblack and much cheaper.

I reckon the way to go if you dont want to spend too much on a light or if you occasionally ride at night is the LED Lenser.It is pretty bright,it is rechargeable & the battery life if pretty good too plus you can use it for what ever else you want to do in the dark.
