Spot on Mr. Fish - I downloaded the sufferfest. 1.7gig later (and a slightly p!ssed off IT manager) I had saved it to my ipad as well as burned to a DVD & I now have 60 minutes of great music & cycling vids to watch whilst I cane my ass....

 

Well worth the R70!

I found the perfect cure, dont ride on the friggin thing. Nothing works for me not ipod not tv not nutting. I dress warmly, lights on and off I go. But I live in Bloem where cars dont kill you

I do interval training , this breaks it down into smnaller bits, it is easier to focus to get heart rate in correct zone on IDT.

I also count pedalstrokes to ensure above 90 which also helpes,

 

I do sessions of at least an hour although I need a bucket to catch the sweat dripping, but it really helps with fitness if you can keep it up. If you are going to watch movies etc, you will not be able to focus on the intervals keeping youre heart rate where it should be.

 

Do long rides on weekends.
