Do a search here on the hub and follow all the lights stories you will see why... :D

I see there is a bit of a price/warranty war. It also looks like quite a few people have them. I don't see much review feedback on the forum.

If you want some serious lights and prepared to pay for quality pm brighter-lights. I've been using mine almost daily and i cannot find fault with it. The clamp for the light on your handle bar works perfectly. It's not just the lumens, type of LED's that's important but another important component is the battery and also the lens used which is measured in LUX. Read up on it as there are many (some heated) threads discussing this.

Revelation 3R: 1050 Lumens (actual)

5hr30 high beam to 100 hours on lowest setting

540g complete weight. (battery in water bottle)

Revelation 7: 1900 Lumens

3hr high beam to 100 hour on lowest setting

600g complete weight

I'm sure there are other lights with its advantages that people prefer, so do not shoot the messenger. All I'm saying is that I'm happy with mine :D

I would love some quality lights but budget is an issue (I ride a Silverback not a Specialized) :D

I am thinking of getting the Majicshine MJ-816 for the front - any comments?

Any suggestions for what light to put on the rear?

Maybe the 808 is a better option, it probably does the job ok with less clutter on the handlebars?
