My new bike

Recommended Posts

After a lot of shopping and eventually narrowing it down to a Anthem X2, maaaybe X1, I took a different direction and went 2011 Anthem 29er.

My first 29er.

What bugged me a bit was the Silver standard colour of the 29er.

But then I found an "accidental" import in the colours of the 2011 Anthem X1. Unique, lekker.

Must say, I am over the moon. Really love the looks of it.

Bike very well spec'ed.(sp?)

My first ride this morning was magic. Perfect.

Must have been the excitement, but I cut 10% time of my average time for the route I did.

These bikes are truly awesome. Maestro travel system is doing a great job. And everything is blinged up with blue

A problem we found is that these rims are very difficult to convert to tubeless. Or at least with the folding maxis crossmarks that come with the bike. Got them to mount after using road tubes. (LBS did this)

Ended up buying bontrager tubeless ready tyres which was easy to mount ourselves.
