Instead of the usual 2 pawls, these things have more than 100 contact points (not really pawls) which means there's no delay in power transfer as soon as you stomp on the pedals. - Reliability. Workmanship is amazing, and the engagement mechanism very reliable. - Porn. They look absolutely amazing. There are few things I appreciate as much as perfect CNC machining and polishing. That's of course why I ride a ball-burnished Intense as well By far the most important point though: - SOUND! Have you heard someone on a bike behind you with one of these puppies?
