Great Service from Karstens Cycles

This is just a double thumbs up to Karsten Cycles for great service

Had a slight tumble on Saturday with the MTB ( was so klein bietjie windgat, OK Ewep baie windgat)

 

To cut a long story short the tyre popped off the rim and all the tubeless goo blew out had a tough time inflating again.

 

Rode back to the Satellite station and phoned Karstens for more goo. Barend picked up and said that he would take it home for me to pick up,  when I phoned he was still in the shop and said that he would wait for me only rocked up at after 2.  When I stopped he took the wheels and put in the new goo, the proceded to break off the rear wheel valve fixed that and did the front wheel.

Sammajoor, I met Elsa on our ride in Pta on Saturday.  What a nice lady.  And while talking about cycling shops it dawned on me that she really cares about her clients (the costs, etc of running the shop was not mentioned ONCE like other shop owners would do!). 

 

While on the ride we passed 2 young ladies next to the road with a flat, and Elsa fixed it, with no fanfare and "marketing".  If the shop ethos is like hers I'll drive to Pta to support them!

Ek wou net s?, ek het 'n dogter en sy's nog nie heeltemal so standvastig op die fiets nie!  Sukkel nog om by die pedal te kom op 'n XXXXXS raam.

Hoekom is dit 'n probleem dit was sy ma se naweek en hy het met sy stief pa gaan ry, ek het hulle genooi om saam met ons te gaan ry maar hulle het op hulle eie gaan ry .

 

Ry jy die naweek die satellite MTB, julle gaan dit moer baie geniet.
