Perhaps the fact that they sent it out so late and not many people know about it will work in the favour of the few that rock up. I think it's unfair that this event should be allowed to influence your seeding, or they should have more of them so that its not an anomoly, and allows others to also have theor shot at "Improving" their seeding Now that is what I was trying to say, Spat, you just had the words
Edge_Design Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 (edited) Their last minute organising sucks, but it's nice to see something different on the calendar that all of us funriders can also participate in... An entry fee of R10 is also a breath of fresh air from Pedal Power (they would be able to justify R100 for it without any hesitation!). I can't make it today, but would love to be able to do some of these in the future whether it's for seeding or just for a laugh so go and support them so it happens more regularly! For those moaning about the day of the week and the seeding thing, your seeding isn't going to drop if you don't ride so stop stressing about it (it really doesn't affect you if 2 people from your group move up and you don't!). If it was on saturday, you would moan because it's the roller coaster on sunday so you can't ride so give it a break! Maybe 4 till 7 or even 8 would be better than 6, but I'm sure that will change if there is sufficient support for it... Give us a southern suburbs one and I will make sure I get there before 6 if that's what it takes! Edited January 11, 2011 by Edge_Design

Oh my golly.That is so fast.Sorry boys, I dont think that this is going to help your seeding much.31km/h average, where I have had days where my granny gear feels tough on that hill.....Looking at the times (at the peoples results to gauge them), if I was in my prime form I dont think I would have done better than 7 minutes, probably closer to 8.Thats a full 2 minute gap. That would probably kick my fat butt back to Z soooo quickly Would like to give this a try ppa, but please let us know slightly ahead of the time next time.....

Lets just watch the explanations that come out of this one.
