The Quartz should be officially released mid December. It

should have been earlier but LOOK decided to make an option of another

cleat available. There will now be two cleats, a 15deg and a 20deg release.

This change postponed the launch a bit....but  its well worth the wait!

 

There will be three models:

 

 

Quartz                 RRP: R620

Quartz Carbon     RRP: R1200

Quartz Carbon Ti  RRP: R2640

That is pretty good pricing.  Equivalent to the US pricing at Glory Cycles (not the cheapest but usually reasonable).

I assume the cleats will go for a little under R200?

Any chance you could get a set of the bottom of the range (Quartz) down to me in Durban in December plus a spare set of cleats (15deg)? Happy to go through my LBS if need be (Leigh's).  Eggbeater cleats are too flimsy and getting a bit expensive.  Also seem to get fairly frequent hot foot that I am sure is purely to do with the platform size.

I will do my best. What's nice about the Quartz is that there's no weight limit...and they are pretty robust. They will come supplied with the 20deg cleat and the 15deg cleat available as an option. They should retail for about R180. I will keep you guys updated.
