I'm keen to get a gps at some stage and while doing some research came accross Bryton gps and cycle computers. Anyone heard of them or had any experience with them? Seems to be a New Zealand company, the unit looks good I think.

Price? I think that is the biggest 'problem' on the SA market at the moment. It's the best bang for buck that gets the stock rolling.

Looks decent though!

I emailed them for more info and as to whether they'll ship to SA, got a reply the same day to say they'll happily ship. Waiting for Monday for pricing.

Anybody use the Brytons yet?

Looking to get a cycle computer gps thingy for my bike and looking for some reviews.

Reviews in the latest Tread or bicycling magazines. They compare the latest Bryton and Garmins.

I have a Bryton Rider 35 on order but no stock in SA at the moment.

Use the rider 35. What a great piece of equipment and much cheaper and easier to use than the Garmin.

Really easy to use and I got mine from the complete cyclist in Hout Bay. Was a great deal including heart rate monitor and cadence.

I just got the Rider 50 and am using it for the first time tomorrow for the 94.7 mtb race.

The unit looks and feels nice and I am excited to see how it performs. I'll review it after the ride.

i decided to stick with garmin better interface to analyze data, and more generic to share information, but the bryton's dont look bad, and to make it all happy i got 50GBP off the garmin bundel too from CRC's christmas special.
