Ek is ook in J. Dra 'n rooi Ceres top. Moet onder 3.30 die Argus doen en ek help altyd daar voor.

Mooi man! Hopelik is dit 'n lekker vinnige dag op die fiets! Met al the berge in die Ceres omgewing, kan ons nou al staat maak vir die werk om op die opdrande te wees??

I'm more than willing to charge the downhills and flats but gees, I need one of the mountain goats to get me over the hills with the group!

I normally get dropped on the downhills, and do ok on the hills. Maybe help each other out?

Fantastic in theory :) but I fear the effort of trying to haul my butt over the hill may be hazardous to your health. I know it's hazardous to mine! But if I'm anywhere near the group after Boyes, yeehah!

Great thread!

What a bunch...

Bender, you have streams of disciples following you through all your races from the looks of all the race threads :) Whereas I'm more like the Bender robot from Futurama i.e. be really lazy, sarcy, and steal the wheels of as many pelotons as I can... hence, no disciples. :(

Are you just cautious on the downhills? Interesting to have it this way round.

Living in West Beach (Tableview) and commuting to Mowbray means I'm usually stronger on the flats into the wind personally.

I also commute to Mowbray from that area. Well ... used to commute. The last two months have been lazy, but I started in earnest again this week, given that the world champs are coming up, so hopefully I can get some consistency going again for at least a month.

I am not sure why I don't descend well. I feel like I am pushing as hard as I can on a downhill, and then guys still just go so much faster than me. Weight? Lack of strength? Over cautious? I don't know, perhaps a little bit of each. Fare slightly better on the hills though; not super hot, but at least better

What's the chance eh pronutro? I work in the River Park complex off Liesbeek Parkway and stay in Buoy Bend in West Beach. Typically on the road between 5:30 and 6:00 for the commute in and leave Mowbray at 3:30 or thereabouts for the return trip. Your schedule?? Might be useful to try catch up out on the road somewhere.

Me too

Usually start at around 06:00/06:10

and leave Mowbray at 3:30 or thereabouts for the return trip.

Can leave 16:00 earliest. A 15:30 start would be so cool :(

More no way. Which building are you in?? I'm in Liesbeek House.

Nothing more cool than leaving at 16:00 and beating the traffic home BADLY! Especially when the South Easter is humping!

We must've ridden by each other at some stage?

Careful now, Thor Buttox...

Let us not start another religious thread!

Got a H number but will be riding with Buchu in J. (also in a red Ceres top) You dont have to worry about buchu on a climb he's a machine. Only thing you have to worry about is getting dropped.
