How much should I be paying for this bike? I want numbers guys...

 

- Specialized S-Works Hardtail Frame Kit, M5 Aluminum, anodized silver, carbon seat post

- Fork DT Swiss XRC 100 RL, remote lockout, 100m travel

- SRAM X-0 groupset 2x9 speed, with 2011 crank 42/28, 175mm (3x9 also available)

- Brakes Avid Juicy 7 hydraulic, front disc 185mm, rear disc 160mm

- Selle Italia SLR Ti saddle

- DTSwiss X420 wheels

- Nokon shift cables

- less than 10.0 kg!

Sounds like you know what you should be paying.... Personally I would put parts of that quality on a carbon frame

@Cannas: what do you think about the S-works frame? Is it not of the same standard at the other components? Think carbon would be a wiser choice? Would be significantly more expensive though...

New or used?

 

Not that I am familiar with Specialized products but that sure looks like an old-skool frame: it has V-brake mounts. And nothing really special about this components, check on CRC for new prices and compares. Cant believe that frame is worth more than a few Rk.

 

and SRAM 2x9? - you will need 3x9 if you are going to be doing any mountainous riding, unless you are Elite material. Or go with new 2x10.
