Fitting Shimano SPD cleats on SIDI mtb shoes

Recommended Posts

So, I got my new pair of SIDI Dominators yesterday! Stoked out of my skin!

Anyway, I need to buy new cleats, as my old cleats are so worn I can't get it off of my old shoes, but I have heard that people have had issues with fitting Shimano cleats on SIDI shoes. Something about the screws being too short or not fitting....

Anyone here that had this problem? How do I get around it? Still need to buy the cleats but I have to stick with Shimano (due to the virgin active spinning bikes)

Any help will be appreciated! Thanks!

Sidi Dominators do not belong in the gym. Use your old shoes for that. Dominators belong in the mud, especially if they are white....

Bud, my old shoes are FUBAR! and, alas, their black...

Any comments on the cleat issue?

Dominators do not have good ventilation, so not the best idea for spinning (for more than one session, but who does more than one anyway? If you haven't killed yourself in 45-60 min you are holding back.).
