Elderly gentleman riding with his son and grandson last year, hit that ditch and went over the bars. He died in hospital later, so yes WOW................

I ride the spruit often and find signage,upkeep and general usage all in great condition. There will always be that chop ! One should always ride with caution if you are unfamiliar with the trail................ That wooden little bridge was erected after someone unfortunately hit that ditch unaware and was killed !

I also found out that my Thule rack would move / pivot around the ball and tried all sort of remedies thinking that the chrome was the issue as it was too smooth and the rack could not grip properly.........to eventually figure out that the ball is bolted through the L plate and was not tightly secured! Ended up spot welding it!

I have the clug mounts...............works very well !
