I have heard of QR to 20mm converters but not the other way around . If you interested I got a complete 160mm Nixon with a 20mm XT front wheel and 2.6 Kenda tyre .

Go to Autozone (not sure where they r in CPT) and look at their AMPRO products . Been using them for years and a very good product .

That is why we call it breaks , cause we put grease Q20 and all kinda other crap on them . They are then knows as breaks .

Ok so now I got all this grease , just what do you grease on your bikes ?

I am surprised my arms and hands recovered so quickly but I was bleeding through my eyes the last 30km of that race . I know I said earlier "never again" but I am over it now and most probably will try againnext year , can only improve .

Also had to fix a few smilies on my back rim yesterday but luckly it's still running true .

I saw a few SS hubbers pass me early in the race . You dudes are way to fast for me to keep up . After a late night out with the ducktails on friday I did not feel like changing front to 32 so thought I will be able to manage the 34 ! First mistake , second was doing it on rigid ! I was looking for uphills just to give hands and arms a rest . Monster on SS now done and dusted but don't think I will do it again soon .

Don't know if somebody mentioned it but the start is always VERY cold .

Since we be waving while passing/getting passed , I will be on the white On-One with Donald Duck on the back carrier .

The Magalies Monster is really not about that climb . That is not the hard bit , the hard bits are the technical sections . The profile picture has been cropped to fit the page and that makes the climb look like the side of K2 . There are also a few other shorter climbs that will make you bleed through your eyes , and don't forget the SAND !! I am also aiming to get to the beer tent ASAP without killing myself , so most probable will be over 5 hours .

Gonna spin gently anyway , 32/19 will not see me going very fast on the flats anyway ,

NO riding at all this week . I think the S2C should have been enough of a warm-up .
