  1. The new Contermanskloof MTB trails this morning.
  2. That's the reason you have probably never joined a club? What you are really saying is that you haven't actually thought it through. There's nothing like a good reasoned argument to make a point so it's a pity you didn't make one, prefering instead to add to the signal to noise ratioChrisH2009-11-28 05:06:39

    SPD pedals

I agree with ML. Logic says the point of pressure is the inside of the shoe not the pedal. I use SPD's on my MTB, Road and Tri bike. Hell I even did Ironman with MTB shoes and long fingered gloves, but that's probably more because I'm half savage and half gypsy and have no sense of decorum. Like the bike, it's probably also not about the shoes.
  4. I pulled out in Montague but got back on the bike at the last stop after I'd cooled down and rehydrated. Before I got back on I removed my timing chip. I didn't pull or push any of the team riders in the next section, didn't cross the finish line and didn't take a medal. I did take the coke voucher though, I'm not that much of a Saint.
  5. ?Brilliant!!? another generalization!!.....is most guys in WC is also gangsters; rapists; child molesters; traffic-light-jumpers; etc etc.?? ? ? Excuse me? I do NOT jump traffic lights!!
  6. That's what used I do, but then after half an hour I was too tired to go cycling anymore. Now I apply it directly to the shammy.
  7. I'm with racing snail on this one. What a racket. And don't tell me to switch off if I don't like it, feedback like this can lead to improvements.
  8. If all else fails go to Triangle Sports in Diep River (Opposite New Balance factory shop and head office) They are the distributors and will sell direct.
  9. She looks a bit of a MILF.
  10. Two weeks ago on Chappies we were riding up from the Noordhoek side in single file and the runners were all over the road. For safety reasons the runners had to run on the left hand side of the road with their backs to the oncoming traffic. Inevitably one of them went mad and turned 90 degrees straight into our pace line (which was doing all of 15kph at the time) The result was amazing. 1 x runner out for the count. 1 x cyclist with 5 stiches on his eyebrow. Both taken to hospital. The bikes front wheel was also koeksustered. Blerrie runners
  11. I thought you were talking about a bike that was moody and was shot to put it out of its misery. Imagine my disappointment.
  12. My leg two weeks after falling onto and being impaled by a cut off tree sapling stump in Tokai.
  13. How are people who look after their bikes supposed to win anything. It's bloomin' discrimination
  14. It's the new 2010 Ultegra. Super smooth.
  15. I look straight down and there it is. Everytime. Seriously though I have only just fitted it and haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Hopefully this weekend.
  16. I have to admit that having a 'bike room' is a bit over the top, but they can't sleep outside in the garage. I read Lance's books to them at night. It's tough love I know, but they need to understand it's not about them.
  17. Am I doing this right? http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_TahXQ2WiF0s/SY0_z0V3w7I/AAAAAAAALXI/uQv0Kq8x_TM/s400/The+rise+of+Hitler+07.JPG
  18. No one else stands a chance. She's seen my badger already.
  19. Look. A Badger!!!!
  20. For R40 I'll double your average speed guaranteed. How it works is, you fit the extra magnet I sell you to your front wheel and the bike computer registers double the speed for the same amount of work. *George...start the coat*
  21. Te best way to sleep at night when you have roasties like that is to take a Viagra. It'll keep the sheets off you.
