Flat pedals all the way. When you're hooking it up on flats, there is no better feeling. I can't bunny hop properly with clips. Just feels so wrong.

Is it just me who noticed that alot of people who responded to this thread had admitted that they had cracked cannondale frames replaced under warranty. So it seems that they do in fact crack relatively frequently. With that in mind, is that not in itself confirmation that this brand fails on a relatively regular basis? Are there other brands that crack frequently as this? My Look kg486 developed a small crack by the BB last year. (I bought it in 2005) I've since had it repaired and its right as rain once again. And for the record, I think (thought) Cannondale is a stunning brand.

What is very interesting is all the comments from the morally and ethically pure who are no doubt sitting at the office camping on the hub and potentially other websites etc which are not remotely work related. Hello kettle, I'm pot, you're black....

Normal soles for flats. I find the freeriders the best as you can feel what's going on through the sole. The karvers etc have a very thick sole, so you don't have any feel. The Minaars are seriously heavy. Have only ridden them with clips, so don't know how they will feel on flats. The sole is very stiff, so I guess it will feel a little more sterile than the freeriders (which have quite a bit of give, just like normal trainers.) FiveTen's are brilliant riding shoes for flats though. You can't go wrong.

Question, does the time stamp indicate the last recorded time? If so, does that imply that anyone with a time less than 23hrs did not get an official finish as per the announcements?

Rather make the tables too long than too short. Over jumping a landing is not fun. It hurts. Alot.

They look a bit short. But good work. Will be interesting to see if you can carry speed going towards Emmerentia, but coming back, those are way too short. But we'll have to see when we ride em. Thanks for the efforts.

I have ordered more than R150000 with CRC over the last 2 years and have only had minor issues once or twice. If you don't like their service, don't use em.

yep. well aware of the criteria and gee makes the cut as there is no specific mention of a trick, so dunno what DV's rambling on about Gee doesn't get my vote in the awesomeness category. Even our our Meneer Minnaar has style and pulls tricks in his race run. He is the King of the Race Whip, is he not?

Put in a 360 or a superman, and you're legend. Don't know if you watched the last Rampage vid, and you see them interview Gee and then the Claw. Gee, "it would mean a lot to me to win this" Berrecloth "yeah, for me to win it would be cool, but it's not the biggest thing in the world. You're just here to have fun and ride with your friends." That's the difference between a racer and a freerider.
