  6. I was told by the guys at an orange dealer that in SA we get much better pricing than the rest of the world. They have even had guys come here and buy bikes and send them back to the EU....

  12. They are excellent machines. I think at R3500 it will be snapped up quite quickly! Look around a pricing and come in slightly under and you should be lekker!

  14. I had 3, 2 at the same time. Best one was my gold v brake version. I dunno why, but it was smooth as butter! Had another gold disc, and a brown disc. Really want another!

  17. I guess the difference is the same parts for hope have been available for 20 years, we'll see in 20 years time if parts for Formula still exist...
  18. Also the modern DOT fluid isnt like the old stuff, not so hectic! Its super convenient as well. Walk into a midas walk out with a tiny bottle. done.
  19. I have had the same set of X2's for probably 10 years, bled the rears once after a crash filed the screw head down on the cap (it was still sealed) but I changed it out and bled it while I was there!
  20. Hope. Simple reason, you can buy every part as a spare, right down to the screws that hold the cap. Every o-ring, piston, levers etc

  23. Finally got the Versys up and running again! Ended up doing stator and Rectifier, oil change etc! Thought I had the dreaded leaky mechanical water pump seal, but its cleared up! Think it was just some weepage from standing for a (few) months! Took it on a little blast yesterday to check it all out and a little further today, all good and no leaks! So happy to be back on the bike!
