  1. So I’m looking at selling my little Hamilton Khaki 8753! Just serviced last week with a 6 month warranty. It’s 35mm, powered by an ETA 2824-2! It’s on a pretty much brand new leather strap! Let me know if you keen!
  2. We hoping to be in Durban for Creative Coffee Week 27 - 29 June so if any Durbanites want some let me know and we will bring it down!
  3. In JHB we generally employ a retired guy to deliver for us but should you want something shipped to you pop us a mail at orders @ grindngears.co.za and we can make it happen.. 2 offerings... Holy Roller: Brazil, Guatemala, Columbia (Yes named after our friend Barry) 1O2R: Uganda single Origin We roast weekly.
  4. R300 is ok, we come in at just over R200 for Ethically sourced fully traceable beans, but we have no overheads!
  5. To top it off I dropped the bike this morning like an asshole... in my driveway! Cant even tell you what happened... the neighbours dogs had a laugh at least!
  6. And I use it every day!
  7. There is a guy i see on my commute with a gold speed triple with arrows on it... it sounds amazing
  8. Similar story to my versys, I love it... but now I want a 1200... i commute 50km one way and would prefer not to be ringing my versys all the way! well thats my excuse..
  9. Nice looking CB for sale... http://www.fireitup.co.za/showroom/honda/cb/2015/8a81c7ab6a0c6bab016a30cacd351590/
  10. Thanks for giving the recommendation Guy! We (The_Flippa) and I roast weekly, to order, so our beans are always as good as they can be. All our beans are traceable, and Specialty grade meaning scores of 81 and higher. Our blend we supply to Guy, is a South American blend thats pretty good with everything! We now also have a single origin Uganda which is proving to be a hit wherever it is served. Its a little more delicate but plays well with milk or without. I personally love it as an American or Cortado with Almond Milk. PM me and I am happy to drop off a sample for you!
  11. Thanks, I will be sending him stator and other bits next week for him to build up the cdi then I'll be on the way!
  12. There is a guy who makes CDI units, Jannie is his name. Need one for RM 125 and just wanted to know if anyone had used him before
  13. Talking of 2T, any of you guys ever use the guy in CPT who makes the CDI units?
  14. This is quite a deal! Would love just the machine. Maybe we can get enough in the split to make it work for you!
  15. Guys I have some tools I want to get rid of, just not using them.. They are in JHB south, open to offers, pics to follow this evening... Ryobi Table saw, one of those little jobbies, has a noisy brush but does work! Small surfacer, planer thickneser, this works perfectly! Old swan compressor, works fine, needs a regulator and safety valve but works as is.
  16. I bought a Garmin Oregon but just havent gotten around to buying maps... A bit more robust than a phone
  17. Its a tough call for me between my aeropress and my Clever Dripper.. The clever dripper will make two decent Americanos on a single brew! Aeropress for travel with an able disk is a winner
  18. I am using the motosafe Tour version and they are ok.. Block out most of the noise but not silence! I had some orange unbranded ones for a few years and those cut out everything! I see in the UK you get the ones with the different filters.. those might be better!
  19. That didn’t take long. I knew it wouldn’t!
  20. I see a guy some times on my way home on a vitpilen... its so nice!
  21. 5 digits for sure!!
  22. I have a friend looking for one if you ready... How long have you had it?
