  3. You are not just ignorant you are stupid too. Read what I wrote.... Thats ok.. you're entitled to your opinion. And when someone disagrees with you' date=' calling them names isnt going to make the suddenly agree with you...[/quote'] I never said or assumed that those 5 records were all broken by people who are just eating barley green and drinking herbal tea. Quite the contrary actually. but maybe you are just a little too stupid to read my posts and you make your own assumtions about what I said.
  4. You are not just ignorant you are stupid too. Read what I wrote....
  5. If you actually read what I wrote you will realise I am not sticking my head in the sand... I am not saying all those athletes are clean, in fact I believe that some of them are doping for sure. What pisses me off is your attitude towards the whole thing. Acting like doping is a prerequesite for good performances. The 4x 100m is the highlight of swimming at the games, the winning nation is considered to have the world's best swimmers, almost regardless of the rest of the medals. So records will be broken and have been broken many times. And yes, swimmers will and are doping. Implyimg that to perform well you NEED to dope. Thats ignorant!!!
  6. I'm not talking about you PPTW. I'm talking about the first post by Fandacious.
  7. Swimming is not like cycling. Swimmers build up over 4 years just for one meet. Thus, the recent good times are not necessarily to be attributed to doping. This post was started with a very negative sentiment. The type of attitude which in my mind, is the whole problem with sport and doping nowadays. People believe so strongly that to perform doping is needed. That is the message this post sends out. Take Ricco for example, I don't think the guy needed to dope. He is that talented, but somehow someone convinced him that he HAD TO dope. If the SA team could break the record 4 years ago, why can other teams not do so too now? I am by no means being naive here. Doping is happening, and much much more commonly than the public out there knows. But with this type of attitude we are not helping. We must send out the message to young athletes that doping is not the way and that with hard work and pure talent you can go places. Look at riders like Chris Froome.... This type of attitude and postings piss me off frankly.

  22. Swiss Stop Yellow pads work great on carbon and Alu, just be sure to remove any alu or other debris from your pads by using some very fine sandpaper, before switching from carbon to alu rims.
