  1. You can also get replacement headbadge screws: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Cinelli-badge-screws-stem-and-headbadge-NEW-/261136358611?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cccf09cd3
  2. You probably already found these links, but here goes anyway: http://www.cinelliregistry.org/ http://www.classicrendezvous.com/Italy/Cinelli.htm http://cyclomondo.net/page6.htm
  3. Phew, that's a beauty. Are you going to be sourcing a 60's groupo for her?
  4. If you say so, experience always trumps theory.
  5. No, you need a JIS taper for that. Campagnolo cranks are ISO taper. The only cranks that are ISO taper are Campagnolo, Miche and the Sugino 75 track crank. For Suntour any Shimano square taper, or for that matter just about any no name brand square taper will work. Just try find out what spindle length you need for the crank.

  7. A Veloce or centaur BB works perfectly with a C Record crank, surely you can get one new.
  8. Don't you have enough bikes now Conrad?
  9. +1
  10. Do athletes serving a ban still undergo regular testing?
  11. Love that Radac, you a lucky dude.
  12. Having competed against this Short guy, did you ever have any reason to doubt his recent performance? Was he performing better now than ever before, or were his gains just marginal?
  13. That Zini looks immaculate.
  14. I think the OP should back away really slowly from his keyboard and go ride his bike.
  15. External marketing says better shifts, internal marketing says better revenue.
  16. Pretty much ridiculous for most people. Here in Aus there is a lot more disposable income so it's easier to afford, but you are still gonna have to hide the invoices from your wife.
  17. But did they seek the opinions of the hub experts? Huh? Huh? No, I think not!
  18. I know longer believe in cycling, but it doesn't mean I don't enjoy the spectacle. I still watch the 1996 tour when I'm on my IDT, when Riis had EPO oozing out of every orifice and every pore, it was a magnificent sight to see him sprint up Hautacam in his big ring. Whether Impey is innocent or not, I no longer care. http://youtu.be/Og76z4kGMQU
  19. So it's finally happened! Boras are coming out in clincher: http://www.campagnolo.com/WW/en/Wheels/bora_ultra_50
  20. If that Alan is the same as mine was, there is no protective anodizing over the alu at all. A good test is to take some Braso and give it a rub. If the cloth goes black then it's raw alu. If not, then it's probably anodized.
  21. That's really nice. Your one is much newer than mine was. What's great about the Alan is that the tubes are actually screwed into the lugs and then glued, so even if the glue dries up and loosens, you can never have a catastrophic failure like you can with a Vitus, which is just glued together.
  22. Esa Mexico maybe. In the 80's you could chose between a straight or curved fork. My Master Piu originally came with a curved fork and painted lugs. Have a look at this Esa Mexico, top and down tubes have ribs, curved fork and similar top tube cable guides.
  23. Look, you get different types of buyer Bradley. I personally have no idea how much that bike is worth, and if for some reason I saw it and felt it I had to have it I may pay whatever I can afford for it, regardless of its worth. With bikes from the 80's onwards, I'm more clued up and start thinking like a true collector, only paying what in my opinion is the fair market price. Don't take what other people say personally, at the end of the day, the bike either sells, or it doesn't.
  24. Do it while you still can, the Velodrome's days are sadly numbered. In the 80's and prior the path to professional cycling was born on the track. Not sure when that changed, but when it did, track cycling faced a steady decline.
  25. That's called fraud. The rules are pretty clear, you are only allowed a certain amount of "gift" imports a year, and the value can't exceed a certain amount.
