Hey, I'm looking at buying this- http://www.axis-bikes.com/bikes/mtb-full-suspension/a-10-fs-29er What do you guys think? My only major conscern is the wheelset. I can put slx/xt brakes on in the long run. Solo air doesnt bother me much.

Personal opinion - buy a second handd 26er. great value for money. what is your budget?

I own the same car and have tried all the racks. Roof racks- noise from 75kmph. You get used to it quickly, fuel consumption is affected slightly. Thule boot clip- will damage paintwork unless fitted with extra rubbers. Best for me was older holdfast rack-towbar fitted, they are stronger and cheaper than thule.

I missed the race so please don't tell me who wins!! Does anyone know where I can find a downloadable version on the net? Thanks

I'd put the money towards upgrading to a 29er? Are 29ers better than 26ers? Just Kidding, good luck with the upgrade, nice bike!!!!

FACT- Once you pay the R500 fine for not having a License you get treated the same as a licensed driver.

I've got a GT Expert 29er aand love it to bits, they make nice solid bikes. I have however heard many good things about the XTC's. So all in all my suggestions dont help you one bit!!!

Me too, I'm actually pretty damn cross because I'm convinced I had the most votes. By a long way in fact... I myself voted 200 times on different varsity computers but according to Cell C I only got 220 votes?????????????? They refuse to disclose any more info. Between all the hub votes and my friends I would say I got 800 in total. Dont want to look like a sour looser though, just frustrating when you try so hard.

Because it is holiday season it would cost about R14 000 for the cheapest ticket. I have R5000 saved but it would make more sense to wait a few months till the exchange rate improves and tickets drop back down to R8000 odd.

Hey guys, For those of you that havn't heard, I unfortunately lost. I have no way of finding out by how many votes, but It mut have been close!! The Aunt won, she must have had a masive community voting or them because you guys all put in a LOT of votes!
