  1. Agree with Biggie H. It's in the build!
  2. Economic crises boet, I have to do it on a budget! 14% hurts, but then again, you probably ride a tripple!!! Girl...
  3. Super bikes, great kit, but please round it off with matching helmets. No use going 99% and then skimp on the details and it's ALL about details!
  4. You took the words out of my mouth!!!!!!!! You don't get more special than lightweight wheels! Went to my LBS last night and fondled a beautiful Lightspeed bike with Lightweight wheels on and I swear it nearly floated away, but wow, what a pricetag!!
  5. Indeed!
  6. Hmmm, suddenly it all sounds complicated. I guess I need to look at a longer chain as well?
  7. Thanks Big H, my training bike needs a new cluster (also 9-speed), so I might go for the 12-28. Looks like it's well within range! (unfortunately I have a 105 RD, not XT...) Willehond2009-09-18 03:08:38
  8. Rode in Limburg over the weekend (look it up it's in Holland!) and suffered up 14% 'heuvels'. Believe me, you can do with the extra tooth or two...
  9. What is the biggest cassette/gear you can fit on a roadbike without affecting shifting? 9 and 10-speed. I have an 11-26, but will a 12-28 work? What about anything bigger (like an mtb cluster 11-32 for instance on 9-speed bike)?
  10. So did Burry make the newspapers or is it just Bokke everywhere????
  11. Since we're throwing around derogatery racial names - mind if I call the blacks k...ers? Or would you be the first to object? Nee boertjie, EK sal die eerste wees om te objek. Gaan kruip weer onder jou rots weg toe!
  12. Burry WINS a World Cup event and what will be in the papers tomorrow? A bunch of rugby players on a plane!!!!!!!
  13. John is a great guy. He has given me great deals (even better than CWC sometimes!) and has always been very helpful and professional. Never a pushy salesman. Good luck John!!!
  14. Do you know that for an absolute fact. What do you base your comment on? You mean these discussions need to be based on facts?! Sorry, but the Hub purely deals in innuendo, wild accusations, bold lies and intense thumb sucking. Facts will just distort the intellectual self gratification/'debate'.
  15. Kick his teeth in!!!!!!!!!!!Did I just post that? I feel the same!!! I'm shocked that someone could say something like that... Lack of education mookyspunky. People like that should be dragged outback and shot like vermin. Hey' date=' go easy on the dyslexics!!! Remember, dyslexics are poepel too...[/quote'] Wily you old Dog!!!! How you doing bud? Relaxed and refreshed. Just annoyed I'm going to miss the start os Spring league (well all of it actually) and also miss the retro Wille Engelbrecht grab-something-useless-and-old sale...

  17. No' date=' for some reason the national champ kit is not worn in a world cup race. Everyone rides in national colours (hence the green animal print kit...) Indeed. It seems to be invincible. I would love to ride in some SA kit over here, but just can't get myself to buy THAT jersey... imo THAT jersey should not be for sale, only peps who are awarded it should have one. BTW welcome back wildog, where've you been? Agree on the National Champ kit being reserved, but the national team kit is OK to wear IMO, if it's not animal print. Swiss, been doing some climbing in france! Lekka holiday: Willehond2009-09-08 03:07:18
  18. Anyone who has read anything about doping (Try Willy Voet's book or Breaking the Code or Tour de Force etc, etc) will be familiar with the reputation and workings of dr Conconi. He has been discredited and CONI's "sponsoring" of doping has been public knowledge for ages. Unfortunately, like the article states, most people love the sensation, but then get bored after a week and loose interest until someone digs up some old article and presents it as news. WHICH IS WHAT YOU HAVE DONE! This is an article from the year 2000!!!! None of this should be news to informed doping experts such as yourselves...

  20. Well done Burry!!!! Under-23 WORLD CHAMPION...It just feels great to say those words!
  21. 0,05 seconds?!?!?! Man, that's tight. Would have been great to have two SA champs, but I guess I'm being greedy. Well done nonetheless. One of the few truely World Class athletes in SA...
  22. ANOTHER new ride Dylan?! (I'm just jealous). Great weight and a beaut of a 29er!
