  1. I'm sorry Odinson, but I needed to post this:
  2. Commuting is like life; if you don't stop once in a while and enjoy the view, what's the point?

  9. I watched Sicario 2, the other day. Was I the only one that was a bit underwhelmed? All the action and suspense was there from the first movie. The memorable convoys into and out of Mexico, always threatening and dangerous. The premise of the movie was good - Al Queda links to Mexican Cartels - but it seemed this was too big a plot for this movie, so it got scrapped mid movie. The focus shifting to the Father-Daughter theme that drove the first movie. The first one offered so much in terms of fuel for a good sequel, Would Emily Blunt's character follow through with her destiny of taking down the Sicario? And this was the sequel I was hoping for but the second film skipped over that whole opportunity. Perhaps in the third installment? Lets hope she gets resurrected as a fierce counter to the Sicarios - young and old. Brolin's nonchalantly, brutal character was a highlight just like in the first movie. If you are in the mood for a good action/soldier movie. 7/10
  10. Don't get drawn into that whole - racing cars mindset guys. Quickest way to put yourself at risk of a whoopsie! Rather just enjoy the ride, fresh air in the lungs, blue skies.....
  11. Newbies or regulars?
  12. I'd dispute this, I think the pull from impressing their peers and the ladies, is much stronger than making mom and dad proud. Parent's can only do so much, the biggest influence in the path children take in their lives are their friends at school. Who remembers?

One for all those audiophiles out there. I'm trying to remember the name of a local band, I used to enjoy. They were led by a front-woman. The type of music was rock, alternative I guess. They were contemporaries of the Springbok Nude Girls, Squeal, Sugardrive, etc. Barney Simon used to play them when he was still on 5FM. Any ideas?
  22. Eish! Sorry to hear Cat-i. Glad you're ok - Hope this arvies ride is less "eventful".
  23. Commuting to work is like a meditation and workout all rolled into one. But we already know that: https://edition.cnn.com/2018/07/30/health/biking-wisdom-project/index.html
  24. Mission Impossible:Fallout - What a ride!!! If you're in the mood for just ridiculous, action filled, mayhem. This is the movie to go see. Lots and lots of Tom doing his sprinting thing - LOL! for a 56 yr old the dude can still move. I then went and watched the James Corden and TC Skydive and loved the movie even more. A rollicking 8/10!
  25. LOL!! First world problems..... Complaining about cycle lanes, actually being used by cyclists....
