1. Hi all, im looking for a recommendation on a book that i can read to help my mental game in cycling? I've checked at exclusive books and cna and nothing stands out. Please let me know. Thanks Saudiq
2. Thanx for the ride SirK. Apologies for the very slow pace, i know how tiring it is to ride so slow. We would've been lost without u today!

4. +2! They are extremely well priced. I find that they are usually the cheapest around, i bought a hand pump from them for R299, everywhere else it was R399, that's about 25% cheaper and that massive in my books. I also enjoy browsing their bargain corner where i usually end up buying things i dont really need, because the price is so much cheaper than anywhere else lol
5. AWESOME! PM me your cell number, just in case we get lost and I need to find you
6. Great! you sure this pace is not going to be to slow for you? We would leave at 6am (we need to travel from South Suburbs) Do you know the route? I don't know that side of the world at all the map doesn't make much sense me
7. Is anyone doing the route this weekend? Myself, my dad and another mate will doing the route on Sunday. We will however be doing the pace really slow at a 25km/h average
8. I have an S seeding. Pity i had a tire burst during the burger! I will however start in the CC group as we'll be doing a social ride in memory of our team captain who passed away last year due to cancer. We'll also be doing the ride as a fundraiser for kids at Red Cross.
9. Yes, they do!
10. My wish is for just 1 LBS to be as cheap and efficient as CRC! I bought my dad FD, RD, chain, cassette and disc brakes and I paid R3100 including taxes, for the same stuff here the cheapest quote we got was R8000! I would luv to support the local guys but at that kind of price difference it would be insane!
11. You should consider joining a cycling club such as cycle lab or something similiar. I've been cycling for 6 years and the progress I've made in that time, guys in clubs have made in a couple of months. Riding with people who are stronger than you and who are willing to teach you the proper technique of riding will improve your riding in no time! Also consider getting a program from Maryke on the hub, after only 10 weeks my speed has increased from riding a 25 km average to 30-32 kilometre average. Good luck
12. Wait until you get to the end of 6 weeks, you're going to be blown away by the results! I'm currently on week 10 of my program and the results have been absolutely amazing! Almost every week it feels as if I'm peaking but it's a 'mini-peak' because the next week I feel stronger, really looking forward to peaking in a big race Thanx Maryke, keep up the good work
13. I enjoy both disciplines but my 1st love is road biking and I've found most roadies here in CT will greet back but thats where the friendliness ends. If u should breakdown however its very unlikely that a roadie will stop to help, MTB'ers on the other hand will stop, fix ur bike, offer to call someone for you, etc EVEN IN A RACE! It is also sacrilegious to join a roadie bunch if you've not been invited even if ur prepared to work upfront :-)
14. Can we come and 'test ride' the club before we join or must we join before riding with the group?
15. Thanks Luke. What kind of distance do you guys do on a Sunday? Your website only refers to Saturday rides?
16. I've emailed Karen on 2 occasions and I've not yet received a reply from her?
17. Hi All, We are 3-4 guys looking to join a social riding group in the Southern Suburbs. We currently riding 80 - 120 km at speeds of 25 - 30 km. We normally ride on a Saturday. Let me know
18. Hi All, I'm trying to find some help for my dad. He's looking to become really frustrated with his cycling. He trains with me most of the time and we do interval training, steady states, sprints and long rides but he almost always ends up cramping. He is on High Blood Pressure meds which we suspect may be cause some of the cramps, but we're not sure so he wants to go see a specialist? Is there anyone that you wonderful people can recommend, preferably in Cape Town. Thanx
19. Thanks Ray. Would you say R15k brand new is a good price for the Raleigh?
20. That changes things quite a bit hey? I was very concerned about the warranty after reading the posts? I see the specialized website mentions the warranty only applies to the original owner? Is the bike still at Revolution cycles or has been moved to cycletraders?
21. that's my biggest problem with the bike. Im not a big fan of the composite frame
22.

thanx. That's the 1 im looking at.
23. Hi All, I need some help choosing my next road bike. The options I have available, 1. 2009/2010 Raleigh LTD with 105 groupset and Mavic kysrium elite wheels. This bike is brand new. Or 2. Specialized tarmac 2009 also with 105 groupset and a few extras, this bike is used. Finally 3. Giant composite prob 2008 with campy centaur groupset, and alex training wheels, this is used but is about R6k cheaper than the previous 2 bikes. Any advice would be appreciated
