I don't want to raise unnecessary concern, but here is my story. My HR did exactly what you described above. After changing batteries, belt and used two Garmin's to check about 20 minutes into my ride HR dropped by 40%. My wife felt my pulse and picked up that I am actually missing a heart beat every 4th to 6th beat. Ended at Cardiologist. His diagnosis a missed beat once you reach a certain heart rate level. Now on medication and guess what my HR belt works perfectly. Go get it checked

What gadgets are you guys using to measure pressure levels. My two pumps give totally different readings. Is the electronic gauges worth the expense

I was also complaining about high entry costs untill I got involved in the planning of a potential multi stage MTB event. Once you take everything from entry system, registration, accomodation, trails, food, Marshall's, water points, medals etc etc into account, the true cost of presenting such an event is huge. If you don't have existing permanent facilities available and existing trails in place there is nothing in it for the organisers.Go do your sums and see for yourself

This matter was supposed to go to court on 18 May. I cannot find anything in the media about the case. Does anybody have some feedback on this matter.

Servicing my fork and the recommended grease to use is either Slick Honey or SRAM butter. Any alternatives that can be recommended as these brands are just not available

My Fox Fork keep loosing air pressure. Replaced the O ring seal at top, lasted for about a week now flat again. Tried to spray soapy water in order to find where air is escaping without success. Some advice will be appreciated

Not sure why you are so super defensive of CSA. If SdB was called up a month before the event there was more than sufficient time to get the correct size kit. By the way their kit only arrived about 1 1/2 days prior to the event and was still incorrect sizes and wrong kit. Stop defending a non operative non supporting organisation. In any business if the turn around time is at least 5 years they will close it down immediately (except SAA abd CSA). Lets just agree to disagree that CSA is not fulfilling their mandate and there is no support for our athletes

Can only comment on todays race. Team cars could definately come through the bunch with 8 to 10 min gap On the TV footage you could see the other riders in breakaway got fed on several occassions by their team cars. Where was the Sa Team car

His team car never came through to feed him. Same happened in ladies race today so they had to rely on water from neutral service (not cold and no food) and the feedzone that was situated after 70 odd km's

Just heard that Cycling SA was again able to stuff up whatever they are suppose to organize. Our Olympic cycling team only received their cycling kit today. During practice over the past few days they all had to ride in their pro team kit, some even had to borrow kit from other competitors. When the kit arrived today there was apparantly major sizing issues as well as not enough kit for our riders. When will these guys stop embarrasing our national team.
