I would just like to thank my team mates for helping me thru my first DC Onetime ;BMC Fan(hell jy kan met smile my *** vertel net om die draai);Poision Ivy jy kan maar ;Orca ;Rello;live2ride;Jazz;Russel ;paul;roger (el kapitan);Marcelle. Sorry you guys had the long waits for me to catch up . Next year i will do things a bit diffrent my hydration was up to *** and at 80km wanted to puke from all the sugars in my tummy but managed to get them flushed out with lotsa water and managed to hang on. those last 30 km were tough and quite a few words were milling around in my head not choice i might say. as for our support you Ladies were FANTASTIC !!!! Candice and Douwlien as for those of you that were part of the experience hope you had a good time and well done guys and girls its a pleasure to be part of a sport where so much fun is had . Tjoppies and your team well done guys !!!!

yip did that but could not see anything there was a photograper on a bike and someone at the start taking pics dont think it was Ronel though so was just wondering if it was someone like action lens or one of those that normally take pics

I wanted to bail just before Montague my drinks buggerd my stomach up not enough water but got it sorted and managed to get to the end in one piece 8h58 for my first one

Kleen Green was klaar op my hande Ek LOVE daai goed!! try some clean green a old tooth brush and a small paint brush . make sure you get some clean green on the greasy hands too and have fun !!

as long as the guy dont ask you for money for the bike why be jealous ??? really so petty its his money he can do what he likes with it as long as he/ she is enjoying what he/she is doing then who gives a damm !!! really each one to their own and if they can afford to buy the best bike but cant ride as fast as other so frigging what who cares a shirt !!!! just do the best you can and enjoy what you are doing that is what I say !!!!

RIP Chris my sincere condolences to family and friends . So very very very sad .. Last year Brian Crabb and Glenn Bee were taken out in Kommetjie whilst out training also by a hit and run driver . The law is to lenient on these people its not acceptable

on our way to training ride this morning just oppisite the N1 city on the N1 highway I thought i saw a acis peugeot that hit the barrier and was pulled over to the left of the motorway . can anyone confirm if it was their team car or not ??
