yes swissvan was taken with my phone unfortunatley that is all i can afford at this time !!! my bikes are now priority want to do some more upgrading to some disc brakes ect ect so my zooma telephoto camera will have to wait for now unless i can get someone who has a good camera to come and ride with me then they can take pics ... these little guys nearly ran me off the bike oneday about 10m's infront of me they crossed the track and i had to stop to avoid them it was awesome experience and having it on my doorstep !!!

@1hill let me see if i can find the station !!! station is not used anymore except for the odd goods wagon but me thinks even that has stopped but not too sure

I was in the Naval Gymnasium there in 1964. Remember Saldanha well. You must have been about 4 years old then. yea was about 4 years old and in those days stayed in durban 5th avenue 4 houses from the Mothers Hospital... now this is when i got my first bike a girls bike handed down to me from a family friend. I used to ride up clarence road to cowey road turn round and come down with my feet on the handlebars now in those days the traffic was not that hectic but our neibors were chasing me but cold not catch me i rode away from them but when dad got home i was in the dwang and my bike got hung up on the garage wall with the pedals removed !!! so that was me at age 4 Geesh and now 45 years later' date=' nothing has changed[/quote']ja akkedis i am still as naughty as ever hr was thinking about you and sp when i did this ride my two hubber friends i took here !!! you guys did not see the springbok maybe next time

awww shame skye !! we are very fortunate here to still have places like this to ride and even in winter if you start at 4h30 pm you can still get 90mis ride in before it starts getting too dark .

i was at work 6 am this morning Skye !!!! so 4pm i packed my bags and 4h30 i was on the road . thanks Red Devil remembered the wheel hey one time i was thinking of a unicycle was in the saldanha military base and was a stunning afternoon to ride those springbok were awesome to see again i have not seen them for a while now. A trawler is a "skuit" in afrikaans which catches fish what a view wow !!!

cos there werent any roadies to greet here just a few springbok a few eagles , herons ,guinefowl and francolin one or two mice and a few gulls is all i saw oh yes a trawerl coming into the harbor too this guy was isolated from his mates
