Did not go so well on Sun - 2:46 but maybe that is from spending Sat riding around on my new single speed and drinking copius quantities of Old English Ale at the Food Market in Tokai. Not concerned though, as I enjoyed the event. The gravel section was smoother than last year and less sandy.

I enjoy that off road section. And the weather can still be pretty cold. 2 years back there was still snow on the mountains.

PPA webite calender shows this event planned for Sep 11th 2011. Man I hope so - It will be my only race until November (flying to India for 25 days in Oct.) Will miss all of the big races in October month. But will sure loose weight if I pick up a case of Delhi Belly!!!

got a pair of SIDI red vernice Ergo 2 on order at Olympic cycles.. I cannot wait to ride in them. These will be my 3rd pair of SIDI road shoes; having graduated from the ZETA's, to the Carbon light, and now the Ergo 2's. I believe they will be releasing the Ergo 3 range soon.
