    Tyres

Love my GP 4000 black chillis. I use vittorio zaffiro for training tyres. The diffirence in feeling between the two is remarcable; can only imagine how tubbies feel. If I get Black Spade carbon clinchers I think I will fit them with Conti Attack and Force.
  3. Best thing here!! You can just join any loop/s you like. Easy to do 200k rides here with flat and climbs.
  4. It went meow, meow, meow as I rode along.
  5. One time, at band camp, I stuck a pussy up my saddle bag.
  6. On one of the climbs in the Veulta, that was a stunning 23% (for faaaaarrkkksss sake!!!!) They were riding a 33/29. 23%!?! How is is possible. Other wise a standers 53/39 and 23/11. Did you know you can work out the development by deviding the gear on the front by the gear on the back?
  7. And why would any self respecting roadie opt for the lesser of the two race options? Like Tankman says - all the other top riders are in the long route. And anyway even if he wins a race (tuna riaan) the topic is still ***. Long live this *** topic. It is keeping me amaused.
  8. Guilt by association after the fact?
  9. I think you can by it at Deli stores. Or maybe its something you can get on the Cape Flats - as in "gimma a especially my Bru ne?"
  10. I luf the Hub. It helps me through tough times. Like when I finish 176th in a road race instead of, oh I don't know. 1st!?! Actually I did finish 1st once. In F-E. When I shoulda been racing in C. But I refuse, under any circumstances, to start *** topics. K - A - K!! Wif a capital K. Its bad enough to walk away adter a bad race with a *** taste in my mouth and my tail between my legs. To be degraded and undermined on a social network site such as the hub as a result of an action of my own volition would be, well, ***.
  11. Monkeys, when confronted with other monkeys that throw ***, often retaliate by throwing their own *** back. It is a usefull defence tactic, and often see's a cesation of the so called *** throwing. Humans, on the other hand, have developed a vast and immensly varied vocabulary; they enjoy using words and phrases to express themelves in a way that others of the same species understand. Having said that I now must find the correct grouping of words, so as to create a phrase/sentance/paragraph, that might best convey the true and deeply meaninfull response to your topic, my dear tunariaan - and i believe that to be the following: "Your topic, Sir, is a totol load of ***! Even a monkey would be embaressed to be seen throwing *** of this poor grade. *** is a kind word when used in the context of your *** topic. Might I remind you, Sir, to develope a better understanding of The Inner Workings of The Hub, lest your *** is flung back at you. A sense of humour is indead a fine place to start." Yours sincerely FIREWOLF
  12. Elite carbon cages. No worries with bottles falling out and the look great
  13. Fair enough. I have been riding my bike lots but training little. AFter my trip (end Oct) I will try focus 100% and maybe do the summer SV league. Can only get destroyed. And if that don't kill me , well you know the rest.
  14. Kent why you not racing League? I know you got the legs for that level so...?!!??
  15. ok so that is what is commenly refered to as "stuck in a rut?"
  16. Thanks for that advice. Did not go so well on Sun - 2:46 but maybe that is from spending Sat riding around on my new single speed and drinking copius quantities of Old English Ale at the Food Market in Tokai. Not concerned though, as I enjoyed the event. The gravel section was smoother than last year and less sandy.
  17. I enjoy that off road section. And the weather can still be pretty cold. 2 years back there was still snow on the mountains.
  18. PPA webite calender shows this event planned for Sep 11th 2011. Man I hope so - It will be my only race until November (flying to India for 25 days in Oct.) Will miss all of the big races in October month. But will sure loose weight if I pick up a case of Delhi Belly!!!
  19. got a pair of SIDI red vernice Ergo 2 on order at Olympic cycles.. I cannot wait to ride in them. These will be my 3rd pair of SIDI road shoes; having graduated from the ZETA's, to the Carbon light, and now the Ergo 2's. I believe they will be releasing the Ergo 3 range soon.
