  6. Morning Tim, I know that this is not your area of concern, but can you please help me? My SAS board number is 23944 and each time I enter a nissan Trailseeker race I am allocatted number 50255. The ladies assisting at race entry have promised me on 3 occasions to sort this out but I have received the same number (to paid R30) for the Diamond Rush race.   8. Regarding the safe keeping of iPads, iPods, ear phones etc, how does this work with the container/bags? Do you supply your own chains/padlocks or is this not neccessary?

  11. Another newbie question. How cooll will it be in the mornings when we start and should you wear a thermal log sleave sports shirt or will arm warmers be enough. I saw that on the JHB2C there was an assortment of dress which was difficult to gauge what to where. Secondly, do you take a 2L or 3L camelbak?
  12. Get a Bryton 35 and you will have 30 hours plus battery life. had mine for 3 months and only charged it up 3 times even though it was not actually flat.
  13. I am looking for help as a novice doing the Sani2C from all the experienced riders. What spares would you suggest be carried while riding, and what should be in the box when back in camp. I realise that chain lube, bombs, tubeless repair goodies, pump, bum cream and sun lotion should be the obvious, but need sound advice on the rest

  15. I used my iPhone 4 for about 8 months utilising Sports Tracker and Endomondo which are both brilliant. the average battery life was about 3 hours which is not great for the longer rides. Now use the Bryton 35 which gives me on average about 28 hours.

  21. I am also keen as this would allow be to accumulate excellent base km's for Sani2C. have never ridden further than 65km's so this would also challenge and push me.

  23. Hi Johan, You obviously do not approve of these brakes. I have Avid Juicy 3's and I also suffer from the same problem. Have had the pads in for over a year and am actually going to replace them tomorrow. Is the problem "bigger"than this?
