  1. cant feel..........period.. but everything hurts.. that guy with the rigid....ouch, i saw him...
  2. So you want to make it illegal for me to leave my house via bike? Why don't you just ban cycling while you at it? Even when I do travel on roads with a wide yellow lines, I still feel in danger with rush hour yellow line taxis. The solution does not lie with making new rules, but rather changing attitudes
  3. Come take a ride with me to work and back tomorrow , then lets talk about taxis, I agree with the OP, the rule is useless without a culture change towards all road rules by all road users, we have a culture of road rules are kinda a guideline, and that we don't have to obey them,

And from what I understand is the new free wheel configuration is backwards compatible with the shimano standard cassette ,
  5. The way I see it, people without helmets have nothing to protect....so let them be, there is nothing up there anyway.
  6. I'm going to assume theat you have standard Road cranks on there? about 175mm? cant rally tell by your photos.. if so getting pista (track) crank set might help that (165mm) track bike should have track cranks on... if you do have track cranks on ignore the above.. nice build.. looking good, many happy miles ahead i hope. p.s you really dont need turn sharply (I has same problem on my one frame...)
  7. my feeling is that you can have all the laws in the world on our side, it will not make us safer, the burry gap is a cool and neat idea, but if a law that has been out for some time like the helmet one, cannot be enforced, what use is the burry gap, ( and I didn’t see them will be used as an excuse) having awareness programs is all very good and nice but, the moment the campaign stops everything goes back to normal. I believe the real solution is not the easiest or quickest solution, but one that will work, we create a culture of respect... where everybody respects other road users, be it cyclist, motorist, a woman pushing her pram, If we all respected each other and all obeyed the existing laws, future planned laws shouldn’t be required. Just my 2 cents worth.
  8. i know endomondo has/had a blu-tand heart-rate strap they where selling.
  9. its really a nice feeling knowing that having a techno phobs dream bike can still keep up with todays fancy bling bling and still be enjoyable and fun and as good if not better a ride. i love the feel of a good steel frame , looks good, happy miles ahead.

  15. I don't know, I think at this stage it's still a passion..
  16. I remember in about 99 a saddle like that, where each butt cheek was independently supported, and it also flapped up and down with your movement, or something like that, Saw it at the argus expo back then,
  17. Yeah but it looks like its got the straight six bonnet lid on...pity there's not a better shot. But if you go by the badge on the back that 7odd liter v12 underneath fills that bonnet up fairly nicely , smoothest engine ever
  18. Have you ever thought that on a road like that, they are actually riding defensively, forcing you to slow down and overtake giving a wide berth and not squeezing past and barely missing and making the ride totally unpleasant, but you right they a bunch of w@@@ers and should be shot for riding there bikes on the road, the shock horror of it..
  19. been using one of theses all-in-one boxes now for 13 years now, does most of the job well, expect thoses cones spanners to be the first things to be strip though, but as a basic tool box get it and upgrade as need be
