  1. Hi all Does anybody know if there are still On-one suppliers in South Africa? Or do I have to get stuff directly from the UK online store?
  2.
  3. It seems from all the posts that nobody came close to being bitten. Mostly the snakes just wants to get away from us. Personally I am more concerned about the "snakes" with big sticks, guns or knifes hiding in the bushes
  4. Drongo, please don't highjack a post. We are all very impressed with BA degree in languages...not I would be interested in a tracking system. All dependent on cost and weight.
  5. I have mavics tubeless conversion. Using Geax tyres. Works well for me.
  6. I have Geax Saguaro front and back. Been on them for a few months now. Very durable, very fast, good in the wet. Not good in sand. But I'm very happy with them.
  7. 1. No car? 2. No friend with car? 3. No fear? 4. No worries
  8. Thanks for all the replies. I have changed the small front chainring. The chain is new. Will change front middle chain ring too. Hope for the best!
  9. Hi I had my bike serviced about a week ago. My bike is fitted with Shimano XT front and rear derailers. The bike shop advised that I replace my Shimano cassette as it was worn. They opted to use sram cassette and chain. Since the service I have not been able to complete a single training session. I have had numerous problems ranging from gears slipping and chain suck. I have had the bike back with them on numerous occasions, but to no avail. They have since changed the chain back to Shimano, but left the sram cassette. Today after 100m ride my front derailer sucked the chain and it destroyed the front derailer and the new shimano chain. My bike is only 8 months old and both derailers worked ok prior the the service. So my question is: Can sram cassette and Shimano derailers be used on the same bike? Should I change the cassette back to Shimano? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  10. It would be important to know the name of his blood pressure tablets. I may play a role with cramping.
  11. I'll see you there. Legs are tired from rides earlier this week in the Cederberg, but it should still be a blast! Rain expected in afternoon only, but you never know. B)

  13. "GIve him another chance!" "Give him another chance!" "Give him one more chance!" I think Butch James might be a bad influence on Bakkies

  15. Very interesting posts. Thanks, guys now I'll hopefully be able get myself home if this happens again.
  16. I found that walking at a really steep angle on the My-mountain walkers in the gym helped with doing hills. But the angle must be steep 25-40 degrees at least. Do this 2-3 times a week. Hope this helps.

  18. Maybe we should have a poll on the issue. "Should the hub be used to name and shame?" I personally think it should never happen again. It can cause irreprable damage to the reputation based on a single opinion.
  19. Hi. Where can I buy OKO from? Sounds like a much safer and more cost effective alternative to tubeless.
  20. Yep. Human bites are more dangerous.
  21. What would a pair of Blackburn slX8 lights set me back?
  22. Would this qualify as a dangerous tackle?
