    No . Last year I saw guys sitting next to the road at 42km in the race they run with everything they had to get a good 42km time only the get there with no timing mat in sight

    I'm in for Irene Weather is looking good for the day. On the Coach Perry talk this week he advised against running for a better Comrades seeding now but I'm so tempted to give a C seeding a go. Plus it's my first race as a forty year old :-)

    Apparently the Jackie Gibson marathon also ran out of water today. Unacceptable for pre entry marathon races

    If you look a trail runners with Camel backs they do looong runs with no water points. On weekends when I run the Cradle loop I can easily do the 30km with only my camelback, even on hot days. I always have water left when I'm done. Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk

    I picked up small bug on Tuesday. Worked from home yesterday no run and a bit of extra sleep. This morning I ran with our B group so a fairly slow pace . Halfway into the run my heart rate spike and stayed high no matter how slow I ran ( although I felt great) After the run Garmin recons no take a break Will go for a 5km tomorrow and make a call for Om die dam I will be really sad to miss the race as I have been looking forward to it.     Running is always risky anyone can get injured at anytime time. Building a solid base overtime reduces your risk. I had a terrible ITB mid Jan couldn't even walk. New pair of shoes a bit less milage and morenstretching and I'm back 100% Some people run amazing Comrades races with ,700km from January onwards. You will know.     My first introduction to Plantronics was when I was looking for something robust to replace a pair of Jaybird that didnt even make 3 months Have a look at the backbeats . I sweat like a pig and these things just last. Not the best sound quality but when I'm on the threadmill it's boom boom tstsk tshk music so it doesn't matter Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk

    Value for money the Plantronics are really hard overlook. I bought a set with some Ebucks burning a hole in my pocket. Although the 1/3 of the price compared to the Bose QC35 they sound 4/5 as good. Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk

    Didnt even see or know it was required. Probably trying to prevent last year's disaster. I'll do what I did last year. Arrive at the venue at 4am and sleep in the back of my bakkie with cannopy on a double mattress until 15min before the race starts. Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk
