ODD is the worst race on the calendar. Traffic to the venue is a mess. Late starts . Big trucks and massive traffic congestion with irrate motorist abound. But I'll do again next year as it's really good Comrades training

Damn good luck if you qualify with anything less than a C or maybe D seeding This year we got stuck on the highway from Durban to PMB and I had to start right from the back. With 20 000 runners the road was packed from side to side for the first 25km as in there was no way to go past anyone. And even after that the entire way was really really busy with runners tripping over cateyes as you cannot see more than a meter Infront of you in the masses. At one point it felt like you could lift both my legs off the ground and I would havr still be moving forward
Wish they had a different business model. Instead of selling one photo at R 50 per photo they could be selling 10 at R10 per photo. They are way overpriced. I think they mainly sell to first time participants exclusively
I’m sitting in exactly the same boat.No running at all. I was in Moma Mozambique this week for work , I packed my running gear and promised myself to get back into it. But no just turned my alarm off and went back to sleep every morning
