  1. Sorry mate - got caught up at work yesterday. Drop Matt a line. If he can't help he'll point you in the right direction. PM me for his number if you like.
  2. You seem to be a great candidate for a custom frame as this frame still looks small for you. Given the cost of these frames is a custom something you considered or explored?
  3. Get hold of Tyrone here on the hub. He has proofs for many decals. Alternatively, measure your current decals and supply him with these measurements - he's good at replicating this way. OR - send the bike to Bogus for a respray and have everything painted on!
  4. Agreed. Future proofs the bike too. Would be cool to get something small & funky to screw into the hanger though... bottle opener or something...
  5. Plotting/ Recceing some new local routes...

  15. Always a bit of downer to hear of SA teams competing for the African Leaders Jerseys... as if we've given up hope of actually winning... I understand the whole focus on one goal thing and direct your efforts towards this but these guys (and other SA (African) teams) are world class and need to believe in themselves to win this SOUTH AFRICAN race. Good luck to the guys. I hope they achieve their goals, and more...
  16. From what I understand Grant is no longer the Salsa distributor. He maybe a retailer though...
  17. Took a spin in The Midlands on a buddies Dale while my Soma gets built up...

  20. Legend! The local Ballito Spez crowd must have loved that! Bemusement all round... Edit: I hope you were wearing baggys to properly throw them off their game... Steel 'road bike', off-road, baggys - much confusion. Haha!
  21. 26" steel and carbon forks available. Drop me a PM if you're interested chaps.
  22. Very much depends on what steel is used and how the fork is designed. There is very little plush about my Niner carbon fork, but that's what I like about it - feedback is direct. My Niner Reynolds steel fork on the other hand is really springy and waaay more spongy than my carbon fork. I've ridden other carbon forks that are similar, and that was their intended purpose. Point is, I don't think you can classify a rigid fork on the material used alone...
  23. Great choice Smoovf. It's going to be a ripper.
  24. Pics or it didn't happen... #hubrules
  25. Another little something special for a trackie customer... Planet X, On-One, both deserve to be in this thread...
