What makes me sick is that these people all have very expensive bikes and drive fancy cars yet won't pay R850 for a whole years membership. Will then go spend R100 for breakfast at Oscars or wherever, tjops the lot of them.

I think they would only need 3 proper guards there, at the top of the Gravity(blue route) near the quarry, at the top of the long jeep track that takes you into Hillcrest past the big duck pond, and maybe the other guy to do random checks within the park, Stop people and check them, send out a message. Also possibly something better then the card method that can attach to your bike(not a board) so you don't have to be stopped. I can just see people getting aggressive with the guards though when challenged

I agree they need to control the access points better. Even though I have a membership, I sometimes forget to take it with me, and the guys checking always just let me through if I tell them I have a membership. These people are scum.

Maybe she needs a muzzle and leash as well, silly woman. These runners are also getting as bad as a bunch of roadies taking over the whole jeep track instead of running in a line.

Those people with dogs running wild next to them are definitely going to cause an accident soon, I had the same thing on Wednesday evening(this is about the fifth time I've had close calls), the next time it happens I am going to lose my cool with the owners. Ive been pleasant in the previous cases, but they still look at you like they are doing nothing wrong, they should get an automatic ban if they don't follow the rules, I would also like to know if these trail runners are actually paying to get in and use the park. I will speak to Jason about this this afternoon.

I disagree. So suggested another option to look at. How did it suddenly become no longer suitable? Your'e shopping on a budget why not rather get the best bike for your money thats not based on a wheel size. If youre dead keen on a 29er then go for it, not saying that its right or wrong either.

The quality of the roads are awesome, makes it possible. The guys I sometimes skate with battle to find decent smooth roads for sliding.

Good thinking Batman and its given me a great idea, also going to take the Monday off and go stay somewhere in the midlands on Sunday night. That way I can have my cake and eat it

A coolerbox that has offroad wheels for such occasions, for the beach or down to the river in the Berg. Me thinks I need to design this. I've already got to go for breakfast at the beach on Sunday as a compromise, Saturday is not gonna happen, doh.
