Whats does an extender look like, and are they safe, and where can they be purchased from?

I realise this is an old thread, but does anyone know what the Fox Remote Lockouts go for retail? I was given a price of R699 or around there. I've tried Omnico, but still waiting for a call back. The next question is, can I use a rockshox remote or any other brand with a Fox Float fork, I'm more inclined to go with a Fox if I can. Not suer of the capabilites or which is better.

Depends where you are riding. I ride Giba and do a +- 2-3 hr ride or 40km, I'm still pretty close for getting back to the trail centre from anywhere inside the park. so I ride with just 1 bottle, some energy bars/ sweets, asthma pump & 2 bombs and set of quick links and thats it. I did 30km yesterday and still had half a bottle left. I also recently ditched the camelpack.

You find time for Hubbing It might not be the case for everyone though, and it may not even be a reason for this in particular.

I got three fines driving down to Cape Town, wish I had not stuck the bloody number plate on. First speeding fines ever, I got three on the way down on 1 on the way back. I would have prefered to have taken my chances without the plate. They were all small fines varying between R150 to R300, maybe going over by 15km, funny how each fine was so different in price considering the speeds were all so close.

Also bear in mind that you have only recently joined the Hub, so people may also be a bit suspicious of buying from a "newbie" what with all the fraud that goes no. Its nothing personal.

I was thinking about this the other day, I put it down to the crazy prices from CRC and CWC, they are killing the 2nd hand market. Hang in there, someone will need it. Maybe also try Gumtree to reach a more people.

I would have been preforming miracles and walking on water if I saw that. To have your legs dangling in the water, Mmmmm. I'm still not convinced, unless the camera has been mounted on the board and set adrift.

Why not rather buy the best 26" bike at R9K instead of a donkey of a 29er for the same price? Unless you are prepared to live with the bike without any upgrades for a while, because you will want to. Just my 2c
