  1. Killing in the Name, especially for the Royal Wedding
  2. It will never end, there will always be people wanting info & advice. You better get a stockpile of brown paper bags to puke into.
  3. Good bike the Anthem, it depends on the riding you want to do. If you want to be doing more xc type riding the Anthem is the one. The Trance is also a very good option, giving you more travel and a more relaxed riding position( more trail riding)
  4. Check http://weightweenies.starbike.com/ maybe u can find it there, otherwise google is your friend. It seems to have some good reviews, http://www.mtbr.com/cat/bikes/allmtn-full-suspension/gary-fisher/hifi-pro/PRD_415067_1547crx.aspx
  5. How did they manage to get all this stuff without anyone noticing? It can't easy to steal 4 bikes.
  6. Pics, specs & price of the beast Have you looked at the Tallboy?
  7. There is one guy, MobileBikeTec - https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/102848-giant-trance-0-whtsilver-l/page__p__1395067__hl__stolen__fromsearch__1?do=findComment&comment=1395067. Would love to have seen this go down
  8. Exactly, don't feel like giving away my stuff that easily. It seems a very common thing to have your bike stolen from ones courtyard & garage. Just makes sense to lock it up, but each to their own I suppose.
  9. Caro Emerald - Stuck. Something about this woman thats incredibly sexy , she has an awesome voice and the rest of the album is also great http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Cf p2mCRCmE
  10. Thats what I'm thinking - Something rotten in the state of Ridgepark
  11. All to each other, Im not taking any chances, the chains are all top level and cost me about a grand each( I have three). It takes me all of 30 secs to unlock them all. You might find insurance companies may start implimenting this as a pre-requisite to payout. I know my mate didnt get a payout recently cause his bike was not locked in his courtyard, in his property within a gated complex & alarms.
  12. Thats where your'e wrong, Even though my bikes are all inside( 3of them) they are all chained together. They would require a lot of time or have a blow torch with them to get the bikes.
  13. Its not the bike, its the effort you put in
  14. Eish man, so sorry. Go check out any pawn shops/ 2nd hand dealers and start trawling Gumtree. Just a quick note, why are people not locking their bikes when at home? It may be a pain in the arse, but seems to be a necessity these days.
  15. Building a bike up from scratch or taking off weight(better speced part) will cost you a fortune, and that you are better off buying the complete higher speced bike from the beginning
  16. Unless you have the budget go with a 29er hardtail or even better a 26" full suspension
  17. I was thinking the same thing and was about R1500 more expensive, I also got all my parts for the wheel build from CRC(and I already had a rear hub)
  18. Im 80kg and also ride a Giant Trance, Ive got ZTR 355 with Hope hub on the front and DT Swiss on the rear. I also like the rocky technical stuff and race and have found no problems. They are strong, light and can take a beating
  19. Awesome stuff, I take my hat off to you It's good to hear of somone else being pro-active
  20. It used to happen to me as well, my mates went balls to wall from the beginning, and I couldn't keep up, then after half an hr or so I was at the same level and could ride for longer. Its a strange phenomenon. Just learnt to rather go at my own pace in the beginning of a training ride.
  21. This is pretty common. There is a thread about it
  22. Its just a massive intake of sugar.
