Well the plot thinkens - R10 via cyclelab online store for 16g bomb, but R20 from the actual store - Huh.

Cause they have your money. I'm having an equaly frustrating time with Telkom, no one returns any emails, phone calls if I could fax I would. I fine with all these large companies, no one ever wants to take responsibilty and you can never speak to anyone in authority. Drives me nuts

Cellphone companies in South Africa, are the biggest scams for raking in money legally. Yet as usual there are complaints, commisions and then nothing happens to these companies.

I find it strange when you make a big song & dance about it, then no updates. This is not the first time, there was also another case recently where someone was cruing scammed and then nothing back, even when you replay to the thread. Weird

Its these large companies that don't give a damn, Ive been passed from pillar to post without any joy - god help if you ever wanna speak to someone in management. Do you know anyone at Telkom that I could call? Someone that might actually get something done.

Incompetent call centre operators, managers & the whole of Telkom - Thats 4 days with no internet at home this week so far(3 days last week), constant phone calls & 8 complaints - Still no one has rung me. So the LBS situation would be a pleasure at the moment. HelloPeter here I come.

My wife told me of a woman that rode to the race, did the race then rode home, only to be 20m from her house and get knocked over and ended up with 2 broken legs. It was on 5fm last night. Did anyone else hear of this story?

I left the tyres on the rims, added a bit more sealent and bombed them, shook them like a madman, spun them round and also did the hokey pokey with them. They do not seem to have lost any air over night so holding thumbs they will be fine for my ride this arvo Thanks for all the help and info people, it seems Ive managed to succesfully complete my first tubeless conversion

I've not had to do this yet, so yeah good thread. Its something I panic about Ive seen it being done loads. Each person had their own method.

So I cant just replace the sealent that oozed out and inflate again, as the bead is still stuck to the rim in most places from the Stans. The was no sealent coming from nipples, side walls or the valve. Do I also have to take the wheels off the bike, can I not just turn it upside down and do it?

Ok so got the tyres to inflate on my new wheelset build, but I had to leave the bike for almost 3 days without riding it, came home to stans on the floor It should eventually stay inflated when Im riding the bike everyday? I do hope so. I will add that it stayed inflated for the first three days, then rode it Friday was fine, then I was away over the weekend, came back to the mess.

That depends where you are shopping and what your level of healthy eating is. I can eat heathly for cheap & also go the expensive route

The LBS ones were 16gr, either way their prices are crazy expensive, even cyclelab are 16gr bombs are R10 & CWC are also R10 for 16g.

So no benefit in having either one.

Was just asked to pay R25 a bomb from my LBS Anyone know where to get them cheaper? Are the really R10 a bomb at cyclelab?

I'm sure Big H could shed some light on who is responsible for the area along side a road. Surely there has to be somone that maintains it.
