  1. Thanks will give that a go then, the women who works next door to me, stopped taking it from feeling sick and preferred to carry on smoking instead of feeling sick all the time, two days left of this smoking for me, Sat is D-Day I've certainly cut down, not that I was a heavy smoker to begin with.
  2. Well all forgiven then . How long did you feel nauseous for? I'm on Day 5 and have been taking the two pills a day and that has made the sick feeling even worse
  3. Thats what I'm thinking, I just sense I will not enjoy it if having to ride with the back markers, can you imagine the bottle necks and I'll have to be shouting track(Trek) and calling people dumbasses, will also need to take a few mini pumps so I can pull a Rouxtjie
  4. I'm stressing about this Champix I'm taking, it makes you feel kind of nauseous all the time, and I have Karkloof race this weekend. I don't want to stop the Champix as I feel it's working and doing it's thing, but I'm worried big time it's gonna effect my race. What to do, not worry about the race and concentrate more on the giving up? Take a slow ride feeling nauseous, or abandon the race idea all together.
  5. I have one question, whats a rear fork?
  6. I was almost a blubbering mess as well. That is truely awesome
  7. Just tell them as soon as they sponsor you to ride it.
  8. I'm sure this is what gave it to me, drives me nuts.
  9. I promise, no attitude at yourself or anyone else was implied. I agree to show respect for the person ahead of you, at the same time that same respect must be applied for the person behind you. If its a race or a training ride I will never, ever force someone off a trail because I want to get past them, I always wait for the right time, or call enough times that they know that eventually I would like to get past.
  10. I'm with you guys on this, I wait so long being polite it eventually frustrates myself, if someone wants to overtake go right ahead. "mi casa su casa"
  11. What would all the roadies say if suddenly a bunch of noobies started riding all the big events, getting in the way, not holding their lines, sucking wheels, blah blah blah fishpaste. Getting in the way of Mr Cyclelab Pinerello kitted out in his ASG with campy tubbies, all hell would break lose. **** someone may even mention that he was wearing underpants and was the one that got in the way and that was a problem, not the right jocks to take that line and not pull the group.
  12. I hear what you and everyone else thats had a go at the OP, but, and its the big but, even that person in HH group that still wants to race and has an expectation to possibly do so without a problem trying to pass a noobie because a slight bump or divit in the road made them get off.Its a race, learn before you enter, if not then ride the shorter, easier, less technical races. If this was any other race in another disipline would you behave the same, do I enter a bodyboarding/ surfing contest without knowing how to swim?
  13. I promise I wont ever pass without prior warning, and I promise to never beat a fellow dirtroadiemtberwannaberacerimaprodontfuckwithmwtfu, ever, period.
  14. You're on, just don't complain when I make you look like an amateur
  15. Sherbert, I've been racing for two years, what I like to think is racing, and I get what the OP is getting on about. Just get out the way, noobie or not its simple. Are people that stupid that before a race that nobody talks and tells you whats expected.

    LBS loyalty

Exactly, if you can afford to support you LBS then happy days, but for a price conscience shopper like myself, the wife or wallet speaks first.
  17. They will never completely disappear, you will always be a recovering addict or ex smoker

    LBS loyalty

Would you support your LBS if they tell you they will charge you more if you bring in your own parts for or otherwise they flat out refuse to do work if you do not buy your parts from them. I've not had the same thing if I have bought my own parts for a car service.
