  1. That's the one...same colour and all.
  2. I have a size large Santa Cruz Heckler frame that I'm considering selling.....140 mm Vanilla Fox up front., Chris King headset, Thompson seat post and matching stem. Frame is in mint condition.
  3. There has been casuaties thou.....heard that one of the accused is battling to keep his head above water.
  4. Is skelm Frans (TDF) still going......heard they were battling with all the new competition around them....
  5. They know you're a rookie, so they'll hound you till you tell them to take a hike.
  6. Hope I dont get fried for being stupid, but why would one wear bibshorts? Im just thinking it could be uncomfortable? enlihgten me please Once you've tried bib shorts....you'll never wear normal shorts again, trust me.
  7. Anatomic Racer bib all the way! The lycra and chamois are imported so you get the quality of an imported bib without the 40% markup for import duty... South Africans always love their fancy brands though Support good local products and create jobs BTW, imported fabrics and seat pads are also subject to import duties. You do get imported bibs like ETXEONDO for less than 1 K.
  8. ] Does any one recommend a good bike fitter with experience in fitting triathlon bikes (a technical one, not the classic "by eye" fitter), in Joburg or Pretoria? Best regards, Carlos Try the new CYCLELAB in Lynwood ......sure they will be able to help you pronto.
  9. +1 - Read reviews by real people on www.alwaysriding.com or PM Etxeondo by Julian Rathbone from United Kingdom on 04/05/2011 I am really pleased with these shorts, i find them more comfortable than a more expensive pair from Assos. There are no leg grippers but the contrasting lycra at the bottom of the leg replaces the need for grippers. The fit is generous, i went for a medium but might have squeezed into a small - the fit is still excellent. Chamois is very confortable without being bulky - Recommended by Gerhard Bonthuys from United Kingdom on 01/05/2011 I have come to expect nothing but the best from Etxeondo. I ordered these and no surprises! Etxeondo chamois' are the best money can buy and the fit is absolutely awesome. I will recommend these to absolutely everybody. At the price of the Dicolor, nothing can compare... by Ryan Loh from Singapore on 22/04/2011 Extremely well fitting shorts. The chamois pad is also one of the most comfortable pads I have sat my bottom on. I would recommend it to anyone. The sizing guide is pretty spot. by Will Richards from United Kingdom on 17/04/2011 These shorts are stylish, super comfortable and excellent value. First outing was a 140km ride and I had no problems or soreness whatsoever. As good, if not better than Assoss and far better value. Love the white trim and would whole heartedly recommend these shorts - may just have to but another pair! by Tom Beynon from United Kingdom on 07/04/2011 Stylish looking shorts, seem well made and that chamois makes for a very comfortable ride. Size wise the medium is similar to Sugoi and a bit more snug than Assos. Very good value. by Dusan Decermic from United Kingdom on 18/03/2011 Spotted these and liked the design. As swift as always riding, the package arrived. Ripped the packaging and slipped the shorts on. I can only say WOW, what a product. They fit like a glove, look fabulous and for the price they are unbeatable. I liked them so much that I wanted to get a red pair as well. Alas, need to wait until next week for more stock to arrive. I think that these shorts with a choice of four colours should make an absolute best seller!
  10. Rider is Wouter Weylandt.......recieving cardiac massage.
  11. Bad news from the Giro....rider down in a bad crash and fighting for his life.....hold thumbs for good news on his condition.
  12. there was a guy selling pegoreti's but you could still snap up an eddy merckx corsa from queens (maybe). Lastly, there was a supplier or Ciocc bikes that did a good steel and carbon mix. I think Tommisinni might still do a steel frame. However, ifyou want a good steel frame , you are in a niche market. Yes, Ciocc still make steel frames on a per order basis only....lead time about 3-4 weeks
  13. Fully agree. The high end tubbies should not be pumped more than 9/10 bars. On rough surfaces like Roubaix, pros run as low at 5 bars.
  14. Me thinks you are going to be waiting very long for your refund. Buycycle do not have a warehouse....they rely on the importers for warehousing. Before ordering anything from them, first check that the importer has stock. My 2c worth.
  15. [This has the stitches. Looks not like a bad buy or what?? 300 gram R186 + vat and duties ( ... 15%...)@ Chainreactioncycles. If you are looking for training tubbies then the CRC option is fine. However, if you are looking for race day tubbies then consider the more expensive ones. Remember, "goedkoop is duurkoop". Consider some hand made tubbies, check out www.veloflex.it These are not cheap, but highly rated and in huge demand by the pro peleton. my 2c worth.
  16. As a importer of a genuine brand of cycling clothing, I have no problem with cheap, fake imports. What I do have a problem with is the fact that this dude with the team kits is not playing by the rules. The price of the kits suggest that they are being imported illegally i.e. without customs and SARS being aware of the fact that its clothing thats in the boxes and not bike parts. I can assure you that if customs are made aware that its clothing, they'll kick his ass big time. Why, as an official importer must I pay up to 45% duties and this dude not. Hell, if I did not have to pay 45% duties I too could sell GENUINE team kits direct to you guys at those prices too!!!!
  17. It will be money well spent....rather spend money on a quality bib than a fancy accessory. my 2 c worth!
  18. Can only be Italian.....
