9am-1pm/3pm - First volunteer build day for 2014 and it's going to be a good one! We will be building a divert where the Vasbyt trail crosses Downhill 3. The plan is to build a berm - a good one - to keep speed and offer some safety for the potential of riders colliding, which I can still not believe has never happened given the amount of close calls! Come when you can but plan to leave at 3pm. Something special lined up for after - best to work up an appetite!

Yaay, I mean nooo/yaay.. confused 9am - 1 pm with something special planned for after. Arrive when convenient but plan to leave around 3pm.. We'll be working on the Vasbyt/DH crossing, building a berm!

AAARRRGGGHHH! Just 2 hours after this thread was posted!!! I found the time in my day, drove all the way to the shop that assured me had the part and guess what! I repeated on 3 separate occasions what I needed, confirmed with the dude on the phone after he repeated what I was looking for and then headed out satisfied that I would get what I wanted. CAN YOU BELIEVE it was the wrong thing! There are only two options available in this part and it was the wrong one!?! Luckily I stepped out of the shop to calm down, walked back in and dealt with someone else who was kind, caring and helpful. Not the sack of teeth who could not have been bothered to actually listen to what I needed. I ended up buy more equipment than what I needed to compensate for the difference in parts, and why? Because the lady helping me, was helping me! Agreed, there is something wrong with some shops, big time!

Hi Alouette3, We understand your concern and are working towards establishing a system that all members will be happy with. We are meeting tonight again to decide on volunteer days, management, contractors, trails etc... Furthermore; website, twitter, facebook comms etc will be back to normal soon.
