  1. As far as tires go. Stay away from an Onza Ibex! I ate sh/t with mine quite often. Lol. They are awesome on dry rocky trails though. Maxxis DHRII is what I would recommend to all "aggressive riders" for a front tire. Also really like the Aggressor for a rear tire.
  2. I actually received my package today. Completely out of the blue. Forgot about my order so it was like a surprise gift. Express in my case took 5 weeks. Granted it was over the festive and black Friday period.
  3. My Skynet fiasco is similar to the other horror stories. Shipped from CRC 21Nov. Paid customs 4 Dec. Numerous mails and calls. Still don't have my goods. SAPO is honestly nicer to deal with.
  4. I honestly prefer SAPO to SkyNet.
  5. So today i get a message that says my customs payment is short by x amount. I paid the invoice I was sent to the cent. This is infuriating. Idiots
  6. I have the Alva 2 plate one. I used it as my only stove for 2 years. I love the thing. Honestly prefer it to all electric stoves I have used.
  7. This new Skynet partnership is crap. I had to wait 2 days for my invoice. Then another 2 days for the EFT money to clear. Still don't have my parcel that I ordered 21 Nov with the premium shipping option.
  8. Camelbak warranty is amazing. I needed a new o-ring for an 8 year old bladder without any slip or anything. I mailed the website customer support US site with the idea of buying a new o-ring. I then got a call the next day asking at which shop i would prefer my new bladder cap assembly delivered. Got it within 3 days of my initial query. Seriously the best service I have ever received. Loyal customer for life.
  9. Here is the preview
  10. Course preview is lit????
  11. The outdated comment is due to the relatively short reach of the bike. The other numbers are bang up to date.
  12. The bike feels short. I would say >1.86m should go for XL. Obviously depends on preferred bike feel.
  13. Amped on crushing some babyheads!
  14. Well done Sam. He had Nino beaten the whole day IMO. His overtake on the last lap was pure power. Nino wouldnt have caught him even if he stayed clipped.
  15. Thanks for the response guys! I should probably start with a book and a workbench. I live in a flat so I will need to do the majority of my sawing at the timber shop unfortunately.
  16. Hi everyone. I would like to start making some simple wooden furniture. To get things started I obviously need a drill. Can someone please share their wisdom on what tools I should buy to get started?
  17. According to my knee and elbow Mountain King is junk
  18. If you are referring to the Jeffsy then yes. We have 2 Jeffsy's in our riding group and both have issues with the Pivot points, specifically the forward shock mount.
  19. I did the short route and loved it. Awesome event. Thank you to all the organizers and sponsors.
  20. I also had the pleasure to partake in the Ezelenduro. The thing that makes the race tough is the endurance aspect. All the features of all the stages are manageable by a competent rider, the thing about the race is you are faced with these obstacles for at times, 10 minutes non-stop. They also sneak in little uphill sections into the stages which absolutely kills you. I walked up the majority. This race is absolutely brutal on your bike and you fall onto huge rocks if you crash. It's for guys and girls that know what they are doing.
  21. you should buy one
  22. The Reverb is ***. My cheapass Giant never gave issues.
  23. At 60kg you can drop .3 bar front and rear and get away with it.
  24. Indola pants look like they belong in Kaap Agri.Cape Storm and First Ascent don't have the right image. POC is overpriced considering they don't include a Bib. The only viable option I can find sofar is the Royal stuff and the Specialized stuff.
  25. Hi Enduro bro's. Wat are the baggy options which are available locally for #enduro? I can't seem to find Troy Lee in RSA. And the Fox Ranger short is boring. What are the other options!? And where do I find them?
