  1. These aren't my first pair of kneepads and they (Leatt) are not durable. I did like them while they worked ( < 6 months).
  2. I have/had the Leatt 3DF 5.0, they are comfy and protect you well when crashing. I now have the Troy Lee Raid pads which the internet raves about, they are warmer but better in most other aspects. I will however not recommend them as they are not durable at all. Mine are completely torn after one crash and Leatt does not stand behind their product to replace or repair them.
  3. He uses a Specialized P.3. Any jump bike will work well. Good cranks and wheels help TONS.
  4. Nice riding! I have the same bike What brakes are you using? What is your gear ratio?
  5. Well done Shimano. All over this as soon as I get the right excuse or special from oom Chris
  6. Fact of the Matter is its a 29r with 140 mm travel and FSR suspension. I will buy it in a heartbeat. I wonder how it climbs.
  7. Where Are the bearing and linkage dimensions shown? Most standard metric sizes are anyway derived from imperial specs.
  8. I have five10 impact vxi's, nice skate shoes work just as well grip wise, but the extra sole stiffness, toecap and quickdrying fabric really helps a lot. So look for those things. I also have 2fo clip shoes, also nice but in retrospect I would rather save more and buy five10
  9. I already have the Saints now I need the fivetens... Seems like the freerider is the way to go. Is there a set import tax on shoes? In countless years of importing from CRC I have never paid the tax rate I was expecting to pay. It seems that Customs make it up on the spot.
  10. thanks guys! Any advice regarding Impact Low vs Freerider?
  11. Where can one buy Five Ten in the Cape Town area? I'm not so keen on ordering online...
