    Anyone else notice the lack of fanfare on the news this morning? Not even a mention on the sports news.

    That is unreal. I can’t even comprehend that type of pace with this battered and broken body of mine.

    Ah well. The same type of stupidity that got me entered in Comrades before even running a marathon has struck again[emoji23]

    I myself haven’t been able to run since Comrades. Struggled with an injury since before Comrades and then made the (stupid) decision to run through it on Comrades day. Since then the injury’s been diagnosed as adductor tendinitis, sports hernia, osteitis pubis and the latest pubic rotation. Somehow though I still can’t wait for the entries to open.

    That’s true. I prefer having the proverbial bird in the hand and rather enter as soon as entries open.

    Hi everybody. Just joined the site. Am an injured runner trying to keep fit and came across the site while searching for a second hand mountain bike. Complete newbie last rode in Matric which was ages ago but somehow I’m already scheming and dreaming of doing a triathlon once I’m back on the road.
