  1. Give Nike gateway a shout, I saw some there a couple of weeks back. If not they have some 4%s too [emoji6]
  2. At the price of the Farr I'd get it and slowly build it up. This is what I did, and my build came up short of 20k, with a mix of force, rival and Apex. At this price and with the added headset and axles etc you could easily drop it under 15k if you wait for some good deals on parts
  3. His insta looks like he's getting ready to give it a solid go, i hope he smashes it!
  4. I've got one of these beauties.... Honestly it's my favourite bike... My road bike has been gathering cobwebs since I got my Farr. I even took it down a bit of the xc course at cascades this weekend.. Now just to wait for those aero storage units [emoji7]
  5. I've got the UD scott jurek ultra vest. Super comfortable and more room than you think to store all the compulsory equipment.
  6. Thought so, that commentator was irritating me with his fooglesang!
  7. Is it fooglesang or fullsang
  8. They are quite nice for swimming, but to get shoes, oh look, on cloud, is love to try some on, oh what's that, you don't have my size? Pity. Oh look, hokas, is love to try them on, oh what's that, you don't have my size? You get the point[emoji23] Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  9. I wish I had size 11 feet Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  10. I've been running in speedgoat 2s and then switched over to speed instincts as they fit my foot a little better. Great shoes and I love them. Done a few 50km trail runs and multi day trail runs (wild series events) and no issues. Bought a pair of Mach for the road races and love them too.
  11. Still a good idea to get some open water swimming in, even if it's glass flat, it's still very different to swimming in a pool, especially regarding sighting bouys and swimming in straight lines
  12. I've been using the drink tailwind for the last few months, mont aux sources challenge, golden gate challenge and triathlons. Haven't needed any other food sources for the races.
  13. I was 19. But with numbers on the arms it was hopeless looking out for others. Had a horrible swim with my goggles misting up and couldn't site the bouy into the sun. So didn't have a good time of it! Cycle was good, did the time I was planning on doing, even with that awful headwind! Then the heat came and bit me on the run. But managed to finish it so glad about that! Definitely got a goal of taking off at least 15 minutes for the next one in Jan.
  14. I had the jbl reflect mini 2 and they were great! Until i lost them [emoji22]... Giving the jbl endurance sprint a try and they are working great!
  15. Nice. Race number? I'll look out for you.
  16. Signed up for the oly distance, first tri on my new wheels and hopefully new wetsuit (water temp permitting) so I'm quite looking forward to it, just not the 8 30 start for the oly distance!
  17. I've done about 300 km on mine and they look pretty good still, they dont qet much use anymore though as I swapped to the speed instinct.
  18. Howdy all Thought i'd introduce myself, roguemeister here from kzn, been riding since school days, but had a little hiatus the last few years, getting back into it in lieu of Ironman 70.3 EL in only a few months time!
