  1. time trail positions isn't really mean to be comfy, but to have the optimal setup between power and aerodynamics..a lot of pro's take a long time to get used to their tt positions
  2. no I'm in europe
  3. I've no idea
  4. I love this event!! but it is in a silly time of the year..WHEN ALL THE BIG NAMES ARE RACING IN EUROPE.wtf?? why dont they move the date so that the real men can battle for the title?

  8. So wednesday is another belgain classic Gent-Wevelgem. so all you guys with broadband and cycling.tv will probably be watching that..And next sunday its Paris-Roubaix. Please tell me there will be coverage of that this year again, or did supersport cut that too? Racing Hart2007-04-08 13:30:48

  14. Throwing up during a ride is defnitly a bad thing. Logally throwing up can't be good. Well if your in a TT competing, I can understand that you would push yourself this far to actually throw up. But you shouldn't throw up whilst training. Your pushing yourself way too hard and the training becomes inefective. If you doing Intervals the idea is to do the last interval(based on power) on the same intensity to the first. Well if you cant you should start easier. And if you feel completely wasted you're pushing yourself over the limit. You have too listen to what your body is telling you. Or you will overtrain!
  22. o yeah..the formula used to calculate power to weight(w/kg) is used on your body weight only(excl bike weight) losing weight on the bike is much more valuable..as it is at a lower center of gravity.
  23. as for calculating speed and time is virtuelly impossible..as there is too many variants..Like speed, wind resistince/draft,weight,aerodynamics,type muscles and power
  24. "I think i read a article that said that for every 1kg you drop your power to mass ration goes up by 0.1.? " Correct..Power to mass(watts/kg)..If you remain on the same watts and drop 1kg..you gain more or less 0.1w/kg.. And a half watts per kg's you can gain is a incredible difference..It estimated that you can only gain 0.5kg/watts per year on a full devolped rider on peak performance... But losing weight should be done in a healthy way, steadily by eating and training right..else you might lose muscles mass or devolop serious health problems..So if you want a good year..you should really lay off the cakes and fatty foods on december..because else you will battle the whole season through..
