Ok, Rolls mounted on a FSA post for now. Tightened slowly but surely. Will remove post and saddle as soon as new saddle arrives. I have a Ritchey post waiting patiently for it. It's not for a retro build though.. Rolls will go back in storage for something special one day.

Get an aero road bike like a Specialised Venge, Giant Propel or Cervelo S5. Fit some road bars that can accomodate a clip on tri-bar and you have the best of both worlds. Save some money and get some decent aero wheels for race days. Good luck

Even the PPA seeding baffles me thats why I let PPA do it. Have a look at PPA site under seeding and it explains how they do it. My understanding is that your most recent best times are taken and they score the ride on difficulty and compare as well the winners time. Each ride they use then counts a percentage to determine weighting it carries towards yor seeding. You might do a good Burger and do a bad 94.7 a week later and when they do a seeding run your Burger counts 80% of weighting. I am guessing thats how CL does it as well. I know of some guys that if they have a bad ride they wont actually cross the final timimg mat to have the result not counted.

Anybody know why a San Marco Rolls saddle won't fit on a new seatpost clamp? I've tried it on various clamps and it seems too narrow. Anyone else have this problem and what was solution? Does it only fit on a retro post?

Hard to pick a winning combo. You have to really see the amount of flat, mountain and TT stages. One definite pick is Sagan. A sprinter who can climb and do a decent TT as well.

I made the mistake to open the links.

I use cotton buds to dry out hub axle after a wash. Use the skewer to push it through.

Do these work well on carbon steerers as well? Great for cutting alu bars narrower.

Shot boss. I always keep an old spoke handy to extract things like steerer expanders that have fallen down into fork. Use your old tubes to slip over the hangers on your bike stand ( hanging or standing ) so as not to scratch your stays or wheels.
